I love seeing builds of utility type vehicles. They're a nice change of pace and the industrial-military combination always results in a ton of cool detail to look at. All that's to say, great build :)
I like your build. You think like I do, and your build shows lots of character, unlike many aircraft models which tend to😊 look ridiculously pristine. I realize that you added the missing tow-hooks but after searching for photo refences, I never did find actual hooks. So I'm not saying that yours are wrong, just that Takom may not be wrong for not including thrm. I like the way you use paint and colours to layer and texture the finish. Very realistic. I would have finished it with more dust but that's more artistic impression than accuracy. And you're right about adding more equipment and replacing parts with metal and wire -- easier to finish and alter, plus the jeweller's chain. Lovely model with real added character. Tanks don't have to have guns to be interesting. Easy thumbs up, my friend!
@@randytaylor1258 thanks bud I appreciate your feedback. I have challenged myself to get better at building armour, so expect another M4 chassis early next year!
Woohoo, welcome back, been missing you. This is a cute build. Really like how the welding tanks turned out, and the chipping/weathering overall is nicely in scale.
I remember seeing part of that model take shape on the Model Officers 48 hour Build in which I participated as an observor but now I see it in its entirity I'd have to say you did an excellent job. So well done you.
Wow that's a great little model especially as 1/35 are so fiddler to do in the first place l got two WW2 Jeep,s with trailer's to build in the same scale .
Very Nice!! Well done!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Funny coincidence, as I was down at my favorite hobby shop, today, I happened to pick this model up, and check it out, but unfortunately, I ignored the inner voice saying buy it, and sadly, did not purchase it..😢. On track part, you were actually very wise to purchase aftermarket tracks. The tracks on the Takom M3 series, in my opinion aren't that great, and I had issues with them in the past. Those looked like Master Club tracks you were using!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
They are master club tracks but they are difficult to get a hold of here in Canada. I used them as a reference to 3D design ones I can print in the future. I want to do a USMC Sherman on Iwo Jima this year
Where did you get the painting handle from that looks useful for armor builds? Great build and useful information. I fancy have a go at this one myself!
Like the little details - like those latches - you added.
Thanks Bryan. I’m hoping some people make the connection like you did that you don’t need a 3D printer to enhance a kit
I am sure that your RUclips channel will reach a million subscribers..because your work is more than amazing
Hopefully sooner than later. I don’t want to be turning wrenches until I’m 80

Great job. It's nice to see different variants of common builds
It’s been fun to switch things up. More opportunity to be creative rather than accurate
Building model tanks is so much fun. And yes, those multi-part tracks are quite a chore.
It’s definitely something I’ll revisit
Top notch work mate! The 3d parts really added that little bit extra to your build!
That means a lot coming from you, I really enjoy your work!

*Wonderful work on this armored recovery "tank", and the result is awesome!*
Thank you :)

It was definitely on the 48/48! I’ll probably be doing a German tank next time the armour bug hits.
Greetings sir, that was a excellent build, the painting and weathering was perfect , what's up next? Best regards from Australia 👍👍👍
Thanks Les! Up next is the Tamiya F-14D
very nicely done keep them coming
The 50 HMG was a GREAT addition, was bummed it didn't come with the kit itself.
It’s probably because they were not standard and a field modification on some of them
That is a brilliant model.. well done :)
Thank you!

Thanks Mark. I need to do a keep as well…the one in the stash has been now robbed of a trailer and a .50 lol
Hi ya Robbie, Great work there it looks like you enjoyed it, apart from the tracks😀, I was starting to wonder when you were going to post next.
Yeah it’s hard when a project falls through that took a month to build and you start a new one. It’s a two month set back
Very Nice!! Well done!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Thanks dude! There will be more armour down the road.
Is it just me or is there a buzzing Sound in the background When he talks ?
Bad earth on the mike I reckon 😉👍
Thanks for mentioning that. I’ll check it out and see what I can find. This is good feedback
That and the clicking when stop speaking as well...
@@jeffallen3382 I appreciate the feedback. That just helps me make better content.
I have and I’ve also started another project when I have eleventeen other projects going
Not sure how you do it. Having two on the go seems overwhelming to me
Looks cool
Thanks GFIP!
@@TheModelGuy I look forward to the sequel.
That's a nice model. I always try and add some texture or extra detail. To me if it lengthens the build then I have got more value from the model
It also gives it some more personality I find

I designed and printed it myself. Should be for sale soon.
14:41 OCD Warning!!
Omg lol thanks. They’re painted now
@@TheModelGuy i didn't mean to be so picky 🙈🙊🙉
@@onemansjunk01 that’s okay, I didn’t notice until editing the photos lol
That tank won ww2!
