  • This is the Lao New Year Festival in Brossard, Louisiana Documentary.
Louisiana Holds One of the Most Biggest Lao New Year Festival in America. Next to Tennessees, and Texas.
This is a 3 Day Event that Jump Starts the Lao New Year Season here in America. This takes place From March 29th to the 31st. This Event will make you feel that you have been transported to the Beautiful Country of Laos.
What’s makes the Louisiana Lao New Year Festival so unique and special is their Organization in Entertainment.
Showcasing the Lao Culture on a Large Stage, having over 70+ Plus Vendors in Food, and Merchandise. Beauty Pageant. Singing, Dancing, and Traditional Dance Performances.
Cultural Parade that goes around the Community.
Door to Door House Celebration within the Lao Village that welcomes all and Foreigners to our Culture. And Demonstrating the Southern Hospitality.
Their Lao Temple is even surrounded by a Community Village of Lao People. This Village is called Coom Wat or The Lan Xang Village.
I was so shocked to see each Street Name being named after City or Province in Laos. Such as the Vientiane. The Capital of Laos.
When visiting this Lao Village. You will see every single House Celebrating in their Front and Backyards.
As you walk through the Village. You will be welcome by Everyone. People will often Offer Food and Beverages.
For the Adults. Shots of Liquor. Most likely Hennessy. Or Beer. The insane part is that this keeps going From Door to Door.
We even took shortcuts in the village, walking through people’s backyards. Which landed us to another party that would welcome us.
How cool was that. I have never experienced something like this in my life. This Southern Hospitality is Unmatchable.
Thank you to the Hometown Girl was Sis @davanh_spice she knew everyone. Joining her was Sis @laomazing_eats My Wife, and I.
Thank you Sis @fancyphou who is well Respected in The Louisiana Community and Showed us Southern Hospitality 🙏🏻🙌🏻🎉🎊.

Laos is like the Irish of southeast in terms of drinking if not more than Irish. My dad use to work with a bunch of Lao people and regularly on the weekends his Lao coworkers would invite us to eat and party. I see this Lao lady chasing all the Cambodian men to drink and they was not having it 😂.
