What a stunning reveal! I estimated this piece to be in the 70’s and you know when you grow up with that era of furniture your brain has a hard time redesigning it, you did a fabulous job! I would be proud to have that in my home after your restoration!

The two tone really improved the look of this piece. Nice work!

They Say If you get old Enough, Your Past Will come back to Haunt you. Apparently, I've come of Age! I Remember This Weird Looking Stuff When I was a Kid. The two tone Helps give some Relief to the Horizontal and Vertical Elements Fighting Against each other. Great Job!

I don't remember any dresser with the compartments on top, so that was new for me. Thanks!

Beautiful. This piece NEEDED that contrasty black as an update. I'm actually astonished at how gorgeous the woodgrain is in the areas you keep lighter, though. You couldn't even see that with the original finish. Glad you kept the original hardware on this one, and especially the metal caps on the legs. I always love those when I see them on an older piece.

I always try to showcase the natural wood grain where I can. Thanks for the comments.

I like the way you added color, in this case black, without painting the piece. Beautiful.

It was structurally sound, so luckily I didn't have to paint anything. Thanks!

I like the original finishes on these pieces, but this looks so high end.

Thank you. When I have just cleaned pieces with this type of finish they don't sell as well or for as much. Maybe that is just my area. Thanks again!

@Randyshufflesfurniture The old finishes just feel like old Florida to me so that'd why I like them. I used to rent furnished apartments on a weekly basis when I was young in the '90s, and they were almost always furnished with these pieces.
