Omg you saved me from burning the first pair of socks I've knitted! I almost screamed when I saw the darn ladder when I put the sock on. Yay! Thank you thank you thank you!
I'm so happy to help. Good luck with more sock knitting!
This is the best video I have watched on how to fix dropped stitches. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you 😊
I have been knitting sweaters for over a year and never had this problem, but yesteday I finished my first pair of socks and proudly wore them the rest of the day. When I got up this morning I saw that I had dropped a stitch and it was beginning to run, just a few stitches. I decided to see if it could be fixed and I came across this video tutorial. It was a simple fix and it was so well explained. Thank you so much! I have learned a new skill and I still want to knit another pair of socks!
I'm glad you found it helpful. These things happen occasionally.
Thanks so much for posting! I thought I'd have to unravel most of my sweater... whew!
Thank you so much. That repair looks great. Keep yourself safe.🍂
Thank you. Stay safe x
Brilliant. Thank you. So easy to fix when you know how.
Thank you. Yes its not too bad when you know how.
So helpful, thank you.
Very helpful! Thank you. I wasn’t sure what to do since I am a new knitter.
I'm glad you found it helpful!
Thank you so much! This was a life saver!
That's great to hear
Thank you so much! This is perfect!
You're so welcome!
Whew! Thanks! I found a dropped stitch...in the heel flap!!!
It happens to us all. Did you manage to fix it?
@@AnnikenAllis I went and wove yarn in to fix it. hopefully it holds.
I have a ladder by the gusset of the sock, no dropped stitches though. What would your advice be?
Break off a length of yarn to sew up the ladder. In future socks, if it's where you join to work in the round after the gusset, then pick up an extra stitch & decrease it on the next round.
Thank you!!!😊
thank you so much!
Soooo useful. Thank you!!
Very helpful! Thank you!
