The deadness of the strings really compliment lenkers songwriting and your perfect playing of course…

this is so crazy i just came from your video 2 years ago playing this song. never watched any of your other videos before, but fell in love and wanted to hear more. the improvement is noticeable, i can almost hear her singing and it’s just so dynamic if that’s the word (i’m not musical at all haha)

You have a mix of videos playing with and without a thumb pick, which do you prefer and why? I recently lost my thumbnail and while I've been waiting for it to regrow I've been trying a thumbpick, and it's pretty great - maybe I should always play like this?

hey, thanks for the message. hope your thumbnail is back. I've been playing many years without knowing that thumbpicks even existed.. so I tend to prefer the feeling of not using one. I only use one if I need more clarity on the bass strings.. hope that answers the question! cheers

Hi I've been learning so much from your youtube channel I really love your tutorials !! I was wondering if you'd be interested in doing a tutorial for Adrianne Lenker's "10 miles"? I really can't manage to crack it
Like that guitar's kinda crisp sound btw (dont know if it makes any sense)
