Been with my husband for 15 years, he introduced me to In Flames when we met and has always touted them as his all time favorite band.
5 days ago we had a baby girl, and upon leaving the hospital he showed me this song on the ride home telling me, "I listened to this on the day she was born."
In that moment it officially became their song, forever.

nothing happened to his son, Anders Friden wrote this song because he's always so far away from his family. He has written a song his daughter (clarity) and this song was for his son as a way of saying "I know we're far away but I'm always here"

See the thing about music is... Its all personal preference. Nobody else hears it though your ears and vice versa. If you don't like thier new stuff that's fine, some people do, some people don't. That does NOT make it bad or shitty music. Yes they might not be as hard as they used to, but at least they are still making albums. The day Flames stops making music will be a shitty day for us all. But until then at least try to enjoy what they put out and if you don't, well just leave it at that. Everyone always bashing it won't help the situation at all, and just makes the fanbase look like a bunch of whiney little kids. I will always love In Flames. I have thier logo tattooed on my arm, because personally I fucking love them.~ IN FLAMES WE TRUST!!
