I decided to explore Boonoo Boonoo falls and Bald Rock Tenterfield during my weekend away. Tenterfield area has recently had a huge amount of rain thankfully after so many years of drought so I wanted to see how Boonoo falls was flowing and it didn't disappoint because every other time I have been there it has been dry as a bone. It's a shame the camera doesn't pick up the amorous scale of the falls but good to be able to capture them in all their glory. The it's off to Bald mountain to attempt the climb which I was expecting to be a bit more difficult but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I did chicken out once up the top though and didn't quite make it to the edge of the mountain but I got closer than I thought I would so that's a win win for me but Darn you vertigo. I still got to enjoy a wonderful view. Lots of great camping areas at both Boonoo Boonoo falls and at Bald rock with easy access for caravans and trailers.

What awesome scenery! The size of the rocks, rather boulders, and so many! Listening to the water at the falls was music to my ears. I know what your doing. When you commented “What is he living in the caravan cause he can’t live in the house. Your casing the area for what looks like abandoned places to include here. Great idea. I do love when you take us for a ride I jump in the passenger side and of I go. That is special to me. Going on a Sunday drive. I know it’s Thursday let me dream.

a very scenic and peaceful place to be. Bald Rock was really interesting to see all of the different rock formations in the park, it had a very scenic view too.

Thankyou, chances are I would never get to experience / see that in my lifetime , but have seen it now feel like I have been ther ( sort of ) was a gorgeous majestic place, and am in awe of the beauty if the place. I once got trapped out at a festival on Boonoo Boonoo island for 8 days after a heap of flooding back in 2008/2009
Such a amazing place those falls look awesome running very well we all have had alot of rain here in Qld we have had quite alot aswell thank you for the walk
