My husband worked un the U.A. E for over 4 years, before I met him. So its so exciting to hear about the temple planned in the U.A.E.!❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏🕊

    Hello Elder and Sister Bednar
I'm an American woman who belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. I married a Muslim I lived in Iran for 10 years. I speak fluent Farsi. Sometimes I attend the Persian branch in del Mar California which I absolutely love not only does it help me to remember my Farsi members are absolutely so strong in the gospel. I've been back to around many times and I love Muslim they're very devoted to their family they're very devoted to their religion and there's a lot of commonality that I found there also. I'm so happy and excited that you went over there to see these wonderful countries and these wonderful people. I hope one day that the gospel and the missionaries will be able to return back to Iran. Inshallah I'm very excited about the temple that's going to be in Dubai. This is truly brought tears to my eyes but the gospel is in the Middle East

Thank you Elder and Sister Bednar for your ministry to the Middle East. It is awesome to know that the apostles go out and minister, just like the original 12. May God bless you on your ministry.

I hadn’t considered that Dubai as a travel hub would make it easier for Saints from lots of other countries to attend the temple. Wonderful.

We are all beautiful sons and daughters of God, and He wants us to show great love for each other, despite differences in race, religion, the country we live in etc. In fact we should each work together to strengthen our relationships and love for one another.

2 And, finding there was greater happiness and peace and rest for me, I sought for the blessings of the fathers, and the right whereunto I should be ordained to administer the same; having been myself a follower of righteousness, desiring also to be one who possessed great knowledge, and to be a greater follower of righteousness, and to possess a greater knowledge, and to be a father of many nations, a prince of peace, and desiring to receive instructions, and to keep the commandments of God, I became a rightful heir, a High Priest, holding the right belonging to the fathers.
    Abraham 1:2,
    Pearl of Great Price
45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
    Matthew 13:45-46,
    New Testament

I marvel at the gospel of Jesus Christ. Unfortunately I see some of our people posting negative messages about Muslims, real discrimination. We can never forget that we were persecuted for our beliefs and we cannot become like the people who persecuted us.
The gospel is above political and religious issues as the world sees it.
I am grateful for messages like this that show the true face of the gospel of Christ.

We aren't united IN our differences but it is possible to be united DESPITE our differences. Not everyone worships diversity like the western world does currently

Does this temporarily conclude their ministry or are they still serving there?

I've read in the description box of the video that they concluded their ministry there, so I guess they're back in Salt Lake now.

I'm confused why the name for Latter Day Saint Charities hasn't changed. It really seems inconsistent and sends a confusing message. since we don't call ourselves LDS or Latter Day Saints.

They mischaracterized them because they keep listening to false Evangelical Christian pastors who are bloodthirsty to enlarge their congregations in those areas. It’s sad.

Similarities to muslims… I would agree. Especially in making Jesus less than Who He is.

How does the church make Jesus less than who He is?
You’re the only one here claiming that is even possible 😉

Actually Mohammed, peace be upon him, in his early recitation referred to Jesus , Isà , peace be upon him,as the True messanger.
You can read it yourself in the Koran!
Mohammed did not make him less than he is.
Mohammed peace be upon him, reconised him as a great Prophet teaching about Allah. Mohammed was a great Prophet. The Last and final prophet for the sons of Ishmael.
