When I first saw this comment, I had forgotten about how I started this video. I didn't know what you were taking about. Now, 9 months later, i just re watched the video, heard the intro, read your comment, and laughed out loud! Thanks for the comment.

I just watched this, and was thinking that's helpful, then I realised I used to work with you at PCMS and you did a training session for me when you were in the UK

That's really bizarre! Yes, indeed... How are things? I left PCMS a little over a year ago... tho ARTS is a great real life example of this concept. Thanks for watching, stay in touch!

At the very start of the video I thought to myself “huh? we’re going to be talking about what we see on the screen? I don’t know a lot about the topic, but I guess all those D’s will make sense soon enough.” The pun reveal was great and had me actually laughing out loud.
The essence of great humor - something seemingly mundane, perhaps even confusing but still apparently unremarkable, and then - surprise! It really caught me off guard! 😄

Thanks! Someone commented about the pun once, and I had no idea what they were talking about. Then I watched the video 9 months later, remembered that I started with a pun (which i had forgotten about) and I also LOLed! I guess that's laughing at my own joke. :)
I'm glad you appreciated it. Another one of my trademarks is to subtly grow a beard during a video. I did that in this video: ruclips.net/video/FhNJ6aikTVI/видео.html

Thank you for creating this series. I have a subscription on most educative platforms like 'treehouse' etc, but even there I couldn't find anything on XML, XML schema, XSD. So thank you for your production, it has been very informative.

Chloe - I don't see your other comment now, but want to respond anyway. Autoplay: you mean how RUclips recommends videos? That's somewhat random. The playlist I provided earlier is the best bet, as that has them in the order in which I recorded them. ruclips.net/video/PpvX3izvRWU/видео.html Hope that helps!

The company I work for manages data for hw and sw with .xml files. I have done some minor modifications, but It had never occured to me that the testing program we have works with .xsd files to do the validation. Thanks for uploading this videos.

Thanks! The neat thing about XSD is that you can use it to validate input before even ingesting it into your system. And, you can use that XSD as a contract between the producer and consumer of data. This ensures that you're dealing with only quality data.

Oracle... the last time I worked with it, it was Oracle 8i. That was back in the late 90s. :)

@@discospiff i understand it will be difficult for you as you have not been in touch with osb for a long time but if there is any way you can launch a complete series on osb 12c, pls look into it. Theres hardly any well-explained material on it available online so i think your simple yet in-depth teaching style would help a lot like me. regards!

Thanks for the explanation, the true question is: "can I use Json for the same things?" and maybe "what is the advantage of xml over Json?"
