Didn't learn anything from 3.0 when people would start shooting to save their cars from getting impounded
Ok vice versa every time a cop runs over a pedestrian the automatically get a charge of 50k to their bank account

Sounds good! I was hoping Koil would implement consequences for being shot down etc. He was discussing it one night in his stream. Both sides need to risk losing something or pd will continue to be "fearless".

im just going to say, the more consequences and restrictions you put on crims, the less they will want to RP with police, simple as that.

This is the same as the VAF system but it just forces crims to hand the car over or every week they have to pay how much they paid for the car i dont like this icl its just kylie trying to push her type of rp onto everyone else on the server

If crane was still a judge this will not happen the council did implemented the vaf but thet didn't quite implemented it for the past months there are no car being auction

They should really read the title of the game they are playing.
It's called Grand Theft Auto, not police simulator.
Why not be able to enforce the collection of the vehicle so it creates RP or place a warrant for the vehicle and when police gets a hold of it they just take it on the spot back to mrpd and make the procedure or the state getting it back so they can sell it again.

Its because that would require dev work to do, if I'm understanding it correctly it seems like the VAF strike system was something the council started without dev input. Due to this, the VAF strikes are actually manually recorded on a shared document by the PD, so if you sell the car the person who bought the car can actually get the strikes taken off if you ask the right people. Since the VAFs are not an actual mechanic in the game it is hard for people to see how many VAFs their car has. So they actually don't have a way to force people to transfer the car after it gets 3 strikes, however as judges/cops they are able to send fines to a state id, so if someone won't cooperate with transferring their car they can force their cooperation to some degree assuming they aren't a criminal with negative 1million dollars in the bank only using cash for all purchases.
@@WARnTEA they had a good system in 3.0 with the strikes and crims pay a lot of money to get it out the way shit actually works.

People sure do know how to kill fun. No one is going to want to buy a car. The risk isn’t worth it. All consequences for one side. And still none for the other.

Just cubeing the car makes more sense this just makes another way too take crims cash i dont see crims like dundee just giveing his cars after 3 strikes he would prob take the debt this needs to be reworked like maybe cops when they take the cars they sell them at a police auction instead

Yup, I'm sure some people will go back to doing this. I think that'd be a pretty dumb move though. If they think debtors prison won't come back then they are delusional. The dev's are probably just waiting until they have succeeded in making the prison a little more fun to be in. Having a real DOC and a steady supply of lifers will probably help a bunch, but they should also improve the minigames and make them less braindead.
