I really appreciate 9Marks, but I also really appreciate Josh’s points about the social justice mistakes and refusing to acknowledge publicly when you’ve made a mistake.
Thanks for this episode, it was great to hear Josh’s testimony and ministry background. Every time I’ve met him he’s always been humble and very genuine. Really appreciate G3 and this podcast
This is such a good interview. You asked Josh such good questions that I️ have myself and am so interested in hearing. Haven't finished the whole thing, excited to come back later! Thanks!
I’ll be honest, I felt Buice was a lot more charitable in this interview than the “aroma” (to use Sean’s term from this interview) he’s given online via blog posts etc., which have often had a critical overtone. I hope that his more charitable disposition in this interview can be attributed to maturity and growth rather than feeling awkward/sheepish about being put to task for some of the prevailing attitudes he and others at G3 have exhibited. In any case, I’m very thankful for people like Sean that are working to build bridges across the fault lines that have tragically divided Christ’s bride, and I hope others are inspired to do the same!
Great job Sean! I mainly listening through AG Tv, but I’m glad you're on this platform. On that point, i noticed that AG’s Room for Nuance page is missing Keri Folmar’s interview. Any chance that could be fixed? I really dont want to be missing out on gems like this. Keep up the work, brother!
t seems like you’re missing the heart of people’s complaints about Steve Lawson and G3. G3 has built a reputation for theological diligence and for taking a strong stance against false teaching. The issue here isn’t just about whether you were aware of a problem and stayed silent-it’s about a lack of consistent diligence when it comes to the sanctification and well-being of your own speakers. How is it possible for a speaker like Steve Lawson to maintain an intense travel schedule for years without anyone questioning whether it was healthy for his soul or his family? Did no one pause to consider the spiritual and relational toll this might take, or was it easier to overlook because he’s a trusted figure? This inconsistency raises serious concerns. Either no one bothered to be as vigilant about his personal holiness as they are about calling out the heresies of someone like Bill Johnson, or someone did raise the issue and it was ignored. The integrity of your ministry depends on applying the same level of care and accountability internally that you expect from others. Failing to do so undermines credibility and opens the door to valid criticism. This isn’t about tearing anyone down-it’s about upholding the very principles G3 claims to stand for. If diligence in calling out false doctrine matters, then diligence in fostering the spiritual health of your leaders must matter just as much. How can you ask me to spend my money to go to a conference where you tell me the guys are false teachers, if the people who are claiming it where not vetted as dilgenty. i can trust a ministry whose know for pointing how the flaws in others without an apology
Did you ask him how his Marriages was before you let him speak at your conference? How about if he was watching porn? Did anyone ask him what God was convicting h im of in the Bible? How can you ask me to trust your opinion on Hillsong, if you never bothered to vet the guys who slammed Hillson as diligently as you do bethel?
@@user0-c5v I hope so, if they the real deal, or maybe they are the real deal, and not mature, either way, if they are the real deal, they give us an answer that is truthful.

Nice meeting him in Oklahoma, keeping this ministry in prayer, nice to see strong leaders again. G3 has set a biblical standard I can get behind.

Incredible interview!
Gotta have the Diet Dew!

Where’s the episode’s thumbnail bro? C’mon now, there’s gotta be consistency throughout the episodes.
We've failed you, Mr. Sibbes.

You think those questions would be met with the truth??😂
