I think it's time for a new beginning...
After the incident with RUclips, that just recently occured (further restrictions for the channel), I had to step back and think about the whole situation for awhile.
I thought about the past ten years and if I was in the position to continue with this channel at all. I thought about why I started this whole thing and who it was that I wanted to reach with these videos.
I strayed from the path for awhile and it almost felt like an automation for the last couple of months, so the restrictions by RUclips actually made me aware of this. There's always something good in everything bad that happens. I truly believe in this - today more than ever before.
On top of that, I feel like it truly is time for a cleansing. Too many people out there began to expect certain types of videos from this channel. Some prefered the old style, some the new. Some wanted specific topics being discussed, others wanted more action within the videos. At the end I wasn't even sure about what I wanted. I can't get back to the old bodybuilding videos, yet the channel will forever be connected to it at some degree (well, at least for as long as it isn't completely purged by YT). I didn't want to feature anymore pure AMVs, because it doesn't allow me to work creatively - and let's be honest: There are tons of channels out there doing that and doing it better (same goes for the bodybuilding stuff from years ago).
Hardship in my personal life brought to my attention who it was I wanted to reach with these videos and what it was that I tried to achieve. Creating something that may provide a cathartic experience, to deal with pain, loss and suffering. Provide a helping hand when you're at the bottom - and I truly mean the bottom. It's just a tiny fraction of what it takes to stand up again, but if it can deliver a short moment of relieve, a moment of hope, a spark.... to reignite the fire... the realization that there are people out there going through something similar - and there are many - then it's well worth all the time and effort going into this. Just knowing that a friend's out there, whho knows. Sometimes that is all that it takes. Sometimes.
So this is it. The first video for I HOPE YOU LIVE. I thought that name would be fitting from now on, as it is the essence of this whole thing. Of course, the GRAVEMIND channel will remain online, for as long as they let it. Plus: The rumble archive is almost completed as well. And, like mentioned before, there's still an 'archive' channel on RUclips, ready to go online if something happens to the original GRAVEMIND channel. At least I'm prepared this time.
I won't include the credit section anymore. Instead I will provide you with a video, as soon as it is finished on Patreon and you will be placed on the wall of supporters at ihopeyoulive.com.
You can see this as an exclusive premiere. Furthermore the feature section at the beginning of the videos will go straight into the video's description. Reason for this is that I felt like the videos were bloated with stuff. I hope that you understand this decision.
