Very much enjoyed your Dad's contribution. We're playing this number during the afternoon and have watched and listened to your Dad in preparation for our performance.[I'm nowhere near your Dad's standard.]
Heb de band in de jaren 67-86 een paar keer live zien optreden. Nog met Dick Kaart en Ray Kaart.En Natuurlijk met Peter Schilperoord en natuurlijk Arie Ligthart op gitaar/banjo... Was altijd leuk!
R.I.P.Rita! Thanks for you wonderful voice!I'm sure you meet the DSC guys somewhere, for the best everlasting jam ! My love to them.. as specialy to my daddy trumpetplayer Ray Kaart and my uncle tromboneplayer Dick Kaart
Probably Universal will release the album (Jazz Sir, That's Our Baby) as part of a five CD boxset later on this year! As soon as we have a release date we'll publish it on facebook.com/officialritareys/
That aboutit Ella Fitzgerald,Judy Garland,Diana Washington,Peggy Lee,Frank Sinatra an.d now,,Curtis Stigers? Ice this songe dans hear it by all singes Who have registered il!
When are you going to "discover" Steve Lawrence and Edi Gormet? They were awesome singers and entertainers! I was a real fan of theirs back in the day... 1950'.
Maybe it's a good idea to give some credit to the musicians as well, at least to mention their names. As far as I can guess: Peter Schilperoort - clarinet, Ray Kaart - trumpet, Dick Kaart - trombone, Bob van Oven - bass, Louis de Lussanet - drums, Arie Ligthart - guitar. Is that right?
for some reason i have a feeling that whinehouse might to a cover of this. I dont no why, im not saying its going to be anywhere near as good as this but i think she will.
That drummer is my dad! I have just oploaded recordings on which he sings with the DSCB, unfortunately no footage available...but some pics instead.
Swing that music
