Thank you! Cheers!
you are so awesome!
Thanks for watching!
Just got my blue bird from Korea excited to propagate it or buy more from local farms in our province hehehe
Very beautiful succulents Ma'am Lizk 😊
Blue birds are one of my favourites.
The one in the pot with water. Why doesn't it get root rot compared to the one in the soil?
The one with water have been dried and calloused off so everything is sealed. Only roots to come out of the plant and grow.
The one in the peat moss could have bugs that bite different parts of the plant or have cuts that wasn't calloused and therefore susceptible to rotting when water was introduced or rained on..
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK cheers for your reply Liz 👍🏽
hi Ate Liz i love to watch your videos...im so inloved with your succulents..>>> VinaKim here at Korea
Glad you like them!
Love your sense of humour 😆
Those birds that you stuck in weren’t dried /calloused.... so will they still be alright?
The metho seals them off straight away. We had rain that night I potted them and have now experienced almost over a week of rain and they're still as pretty as ever.
Another great learning!! Thank you very much 🤗
I have 2 bluebirds, 1 just doesn't want to grow but it's alive. the other one is still under grow light. i find it wants a lot of sun, it gets leggy easily even under grow light
Your bluebirds are so beautiful Liz! How do you stress them to be such beautiful pinks? Mine are under a growlight and they are still a white blue look with no colourful tips.
All of these blue birds are grown in full sun with the exception of the two blue. I would have to say that the soil mix has a lot to do with it as well, as shown with the Peat Moss.
RE your blue bird...It might have a lot to do with your grow light. The grow light I use has full spectrum. I just place the blue, blue bird for Kanya under the grow light for 8 days and it has turned pink.
Lovely thank you for sharing 😊💚🌸🌺
Thanks for watching!
Have you ever beheaded a Topsy Turvy? I have one that's about 8inches thick and stacked 10 high. It's amazingly tall and I don't want to harm it? Thanks I really love your videos, beautiful Succulents and you give good info too!
Never a Topsy Turvy because they're a prolific pupper. Sounds like your TT needs some more light if it's growing tall. More light exposure will in time grow it more compact but it's okay to behead it. Just that you'll lose the top head but hopefully more babies will pop out from the beheaded part.
Hi Liz, how effectively your metho solution kills mealybugs? I remember some kind of alcohol you used to use was not so effective, It knock them out but they will be back or something.
It's the only thing I use now. Video link below. Cheers

beautiful succies, ate i am wondering what is metho solution?
I learned from Liz. Its denatured alcohol mixed with a little bit of water. About a cup of denatured alcohol to about 2/3 cup water. It doesn't remove farina and I've used it on my succulents and tropical it works so well. Kills bugs and fungus mold etc. If u try it ul never use anything else again. Smells good too. I also spray the top of the soil in each plant kills gnats.
If u r unsure u can dilute it half and half Or more with water until u r comfortable with it. She has a vid on it too. Its about killing pests if u look thru her vids.

Yes I do. Video link below. Cheers

Do you sale yours succulents Lizk? They are look gorgeous. By the way i living in Canberra as well, so if you do sale them please let me know 😀
Not at the moment. Don't have enough for my garden yet. Thanks for watching.
Are you sure not enough ?😄 anyway I followed ur RUclips, may be one day you allow me to view your gorgeous succulents 😅!
why do the leaves keep pointing downwards?? what might be the reason? I have most commonly experienced this with my Sempeveriums...the top three to four rounds are up and the down ones point down as if they are looking for something..it looks weird.
They're growing halfway down the pot and trying to reach for the sun. Other top leaves are blocking them. Got nowhere to go so they try to go downwards.

Hi Liz! Thanks for great videos! I am a bit confused: is echeveria blue bird and echeveria peacocki the same plant?
They're different plants but can sometimes look the same depending on where it's grown.
Thanks for reply!
Methyl solution? 🤔 what is that? Now I have to order me a blue bird. Oh, Liz! I also had to ask you what brand fertilizer pellets you use in your master succulent soil mix (with humid acid)? Seems to be working for you and my succulents are all midgets despite having babies!
METHO link below. RE fertilizer: I use SEAMUNGUS by Neutrog.

Hi LIZ! How did your garden go in the storm? 🇦🇺🐨🇦🇺
They're okay. I made a video but decided to not upload it but should I? I spent 36 hours awake tending to my plants. I'm like a zombie walking. ATM, it's thunder roaring around us.
Hi Liz! Do you have everything under UV sheet?
How succulent get's their colour? Can you make a video on it.
I already have a few videos on how to color different succulents. Different species, varieties, cultivars will color differently. Some will color in the shade, some will color in the sun. Some will color in different season. Some will color better in different soil mixture as shown in this video. To put that all in one video will be almost impossible.
To find out the different how, It's best to watch my vlog videos for small info on different plants and also specific plant variety like this video.
Hi Liz . Can i use master succulent soil here in Indian weather ? Temperature between 2 ° winter to 48 ° C in summer
We have the same weather and I use different soil mix in different scenarios. Master succulents soil mix is the basis for all the other soil mix I use. Please check the video links on my different soil mix under this video. Cheers
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK thank you for responding Lizk. I love watching all ur videos even though I do not own many succulents.
If I dip the roots before potting will that not rot the succulent?
Haven't had any problem so far as long as they have callous off and the roots are dry(no fresh cuts).
Hi Liz, I absolutely adore your succulent garden madness! I wanted to ask if you know how to keep a blue bird - mostly blue (without so much pink) but still healthy and growing?
I grow indoors with a grow light so mine is gradually starting to get more and more pink to my dismay, it’s a conundrum cause i really love blue succulents but i’d also want it to be healthy. 😂
if the pink cannot be helped for a healthy succulent then would you have a recommendation succulent that is blue when stressed? I keep getting catfished by those beautiful images of really blue succulents 😂
thank you ☺️
I have a couple growing in the shade that's blue but leggy like the ones in this video.
No need to stressed a plant to make them blue. There are a lot of succulents that will stay blue depending on the season, dormancy, temperature, location and specific species, hybrids and cultivars. I have shown a lot of examples in my videos. Echeveria colorata, chihuahuaensis, opalina, sedum clavatum, sedum comic tom ......just to name a few.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK ahh thank you! strangely enough i have a couple of the ones you mentioned but they are mostly pinkish/purplish too 😂 guess i’ll have to learn to appreciate them as they are 💕
So maam pink po talaga kulay ng pink bluebird na import kahit mapunta dito sa pinas?
Will turn blue again if not expose to sunlight.
💜
🤗
We need a solution to make all succulents chubby. I have blue bird which are so scrawny looking, malnourished ones! Something like metho, u spritz some and we have this magical chubby succulents.😄
It's called water....LOL
I'd pick the pink one!
Nooooooo. That one is mine......😁
I dont even get it. Must b my climate. Last year I had a tiny 2" blue elf. Now I still have a tiny 2" blue elf.
Do you sell plants and ship to Gulfport Mississippi? I’m interested in a Blue Bird It is so beautiful ! Actually every day I come up with a new fav from your garden! Remember the song Is a Bluebrd blue? Can a big wheel grow?
That is roll not grow!!
I mainly grow for my garden and Australia doesn't allow export of plants. Haven't heard that song before but will look it up. Echeveria Blue Bird has become a common plant and is available in USA.
Jewels
Are the pink birds stressed or a mutation?
I wouldn't call it stressed, but rather well watered and full sun exposure.
😉
all of them! lol
😍🤩😘😘
LIZK when I will own some of yr s, sale it L, I beg u I want to start with affordable price
Will do announcement video when I sell. For now, I just show how to grow. Thank you for watching.
Can all your subscribers get a bluebird each 😜😆
But they’re not blue.
Most people grow them blue but when exposed to the sun, they will turn delicious pink.
