One thing I really liked about your video was that your camera was fixed in one direction no shaking. No movements and no headache to us while we watched:)
INDIAN RAILWAY HAVE MADE FABULOUS JOB BY STARTING THESE LANE ....HATS OFF TO ALL WOKRERS LABORS ENGINEERS SUPERVISORS THEY ARE THE ONES WHO NEEDS TO BE APPRICIATED FIRST I AM VERY IMPRESSED ALTHOUGH IT WAS DELAYED FOR YEARS BUT NONE THE LESS FINALLY IT HAPPENED
A great initiative by IR, decreasing a load on Parsik route and tracks had been an important issue... It could be a disaster if one day tunnel gets collapsed due to vibrations and sounds of high speed moving trains
True. Moreover Mumbai Suburban section will be able to handle more traffic from now. However things will be more refined only once the 5th and 6th line is extended upto CSMT 😇
Great video.. so Total there are 6 lines of which 4 will go bypassing parsik tunnel whereas 6th and 7th lines will go from parsik tunnel for trains arriving and departing from LTT. Isn't it?
Yes, other than the 4 lines, the 5th and 6th lines pass through Parsik Tunnel. As of now all trains to & from LTT and towards Konkan Rail/South-East line (Karjat-Lonavala-Pune) are routed through the 5th and 6th line for sure. However trains between LTT and North-East line(Kasara-Igatpuri-Nasik rd) are not necessarily routed through Parsik tunnel. It is mostly depending on the availability of clear line to allow cross over of trains between 3rd/4th line and 5th/6th line at Vikhroli, Mulund, Thane, Diva or Kalyan. Same is the case for trains originating from CSMT/Dadar and towards South-East line.
@@pritam436 Express trains were meant to go only from 5th & 6th line through the Parsik tunnel. However considering the difficulty in making trains from CSMT/Dadar cross over from 3rd & 4th line to the 5th & 6th line (as local trains will be delayed in peak hours), Central railway is using the 3rd & 4th line too for express trains. This is a experimental arrangement and the results will be analysed before finalizing it. Hence the express train now uses 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th line according to situation.
@@trainsandjourneys Ohh that's why This reminds me of that Megablock which used to happen sometimes on Sat Sun in tht all Express Train's also used to go by this Route
Well, this was the earlier plan. However as of now express trains run on 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th line. While local trains run on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th line.😇
Agreed to an extent. However it was nearly impossible to add additional lines on the Mumbra side of Parsik tunnel. The place is fully saturated with buildings on both side and hence no scope for any more space.
Nice video and best part is the camera stability throughout the video 👍🏻👌🏻
Thank you 😇

Aqui no Brasil até final da década de 90 os trens também circulavam com as portas abertas.
Glad to know that😇
If possible include Map at the beginning, it will help a lot
Thank for the suggestion. Will surely try to include the Map😇
Bhai maine kal Bypass se ek express train jate hue dekha. Kya yeh route se ab express bhi jate hai
Yes. Yeh video maine Sinhagad express se liya. Jab se Thane-Kalwa-Mumbra-Diva route ko quadruple kiya, tabse express trains shuru hua. 😇

Sinhagad Express 😇
I bet the uk health and safety would go mad seeing people standing hanging out of the trains at speed can't be very safe surely
True. But people here have this as a way of life.😇
Actually now, Indians don't care a damn about what anyone thinks. Especially UK.
So express trains will follow 5th and 6th line ? And local fast trains will follow normal fast 3rd and 4th line ?
Well, this was the earlier plan. However as of now express trains run on 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th line. While local trains run on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th line.😇
@@trainsandjourneys It would've been great if express trains follow only 5th and 6th line. These trains block many fast trains in peak hours.

Total stupidity as time travel became longer actually parsik tunnel was shorter then this route
