WOW! A good, scale looking tire for $26 a set?!?! We definitely need a redux on this one! We need to see if the stock foams can help these awesome looking tires do the "things" better than the silicones!
I had green inserts in my BFG krawlers. In one set of wheels they did great in another set of wheels that I really wanted they would squish but not return and then would make my turn radius huge. Eventually got tired of it and threw the pro line foams back in and haven't looked back.
A man once told me that "We test all of the tires on the same standard canyon custom inserts. I think this junk view needs to be redone on those canyon customs!! I think a 94 would have been pushing it!

Cut blue injora silicones could probably take some energy return out and give more shoulder support on sidehill. I'm looking more for tire/insert match than insert/rig weight match because of carcass design and compound choice. Silicone inserts all day in my applications, but stock foams probably better in this case.
Mr C. I was wondering if you have tried the rock pirates kraken chassis for a VRD? I know that you love the Zoku ZRD, I would love to get your opinion on how they stack up against each other because I am looking to get one or the other and value your opinion. I hope you get the chance to answer back.
I would try softer on his weight, especially with that thick of a carcass, maybe the narrow klerm stock foam ? if included is med firm he is too light to run those inserts IMO. interesting tire...
Commenting at the start of the video. These on a stock FMS FCX10 they don’t perform very well with the included foams. The clone tusks perform better. Now having watched. Tire rankings for my FCX10 are 1 ruptures with included foams 2 the clone tusks with included foams 3 treal trail burners with included foams 4 traxxas canyon trail uncut with included foams 5 stock FCX10 tires.
You know I have went completely away from inserts here lately I noticed a lot of bounce on stuff that was really Steep and the part where you need to keep traction now on the front sometimes you know it's nice to have that tire wrinkle up and load up and then pull you up but for what it's worth that bouncing really really hurt you
When your climate something ridiculous Steve and let's say you get a little bit of will slip do you feel like the inserts being either the 3D printed for the silicone cause a lot of Hop
I think you want to like him too much and I do too I already ordered a set they're on their way I wish you would have put this out yesterday lol there's s*** from everything I'm seeing their s*** and it's not the silicone inserts those things are straight up and injora S3 type compound
@@Bonitacreekrcs It has taken a beating like nothing else I have driven! 😃It is not without issues (follow up video) but for the money I don't think it can be beaten!

I would like to see these on the included insert, maybe they have been designed around the stock foams
Great review Mr C! These ended up better than I expected!

I didn't even know Treal made tires. It's true - the more you know....
These may be a decent budget tire but I didn't see a 96 out of that performance. Put a set of canyon customs and see if your interpolation stands.

If you'd like to donate some dual-stage to be cut down to fit the tire, I'd be happy to accommodate.

The dollar store bubble juice containers got a little smaller. 🤣
Shrinkflation is real.
What would be your choice for an 'all-round' insert/foam?
Canyon Customs. Cover the inner portion of a Timtin dual-stage with two wraps of fridge foam for a soft, or a 3" hairbun for a medium.

Mr.c, do you think a 1.9 injora yellow silicone be too soft to use? The same yellow from the 1.0 silicone inserts.
Probably. I don't know anyone putting together C2 rigs that weigh less than 4lbs, which is likely where a yellow 1.9" insert would be.

not testing on the stock foam makes no sense
Less than 10% of stock foams are actually useful. Ask the body-pillow sized sack of tire foams sitting next to my workbench.
