Before eunha joined GFRIEND, the group was suppose to debut with 7 members and sinB was originally a lead vocalist but 2 trainees left right before debut and Eunha joined last minute which resulted in a change of positions so sinB became main dancer and eunha was assigned lead vocalist hope that clarifies =)

ok gfriends music isn't really my cup of tea but after seeing SinB in Wow Thing, I watched some of their performances and dance practices as well as some other content from them and I gotta say they're definitely one of the most talented groups out there. I was also happy to see that they have harder dances than most gg's are usually given (and they killed those routines as well!).
They are the underdogs, becoz usually no one can compete with the Big3 in kpop. Ah the beginning their conpany is so unknown. They don't even have own choreographer at that time so Sinb was the one that shows the skills to the other members. Their pratice-romm was a basement with no toilets
They are the biggest girl group from an Independent company(A group with no Brother or Sister groups Making them The reason their company makes money Making them the biggest independent GG Because they are the 4th biggest gg)

What you just said is easier said than done that they must change their music to attract many fans, that is always not the best case all the time, just look at CLC, it took them quite a longer time to earn fans after the drastic change of concept, and also Stellar.. But the group who successful gain fans after a drastic change of music are 4minute and AOA.. 4minute from poppy beats or dramatic pop songs (they have a lot of it) to a hip hop one (crazy and hate u) and AOA from cute to sexy.. So changing the concept of the group might not work 100% all the time.. But, I guess, with Gfriend's case, they are fine of what they are... Their unique music and unique appeal that matches Korean taste and also their songs gained them a lot of fans... so that made them pretty much popular in Korea... So why change if they have a not-that-big but loyal Fandom in their back?? For me, they are doing perfectly fine..

Hello I'm a fan of SNSD I really like Jessica I came here just to see SinB I thought SinB was no better than Jessica but it turns out I was wrong they have the same talent! And I was very surprised to see this I thought SinB was the second gold member after Yuju because her voice is very unique and soft accompanied by highnotes very well I like it, and her dance so very well ,strong and powerful, i think her can even be a rapper ... her body is so ideal and the visuals are very beautiful .. looks similar to jessica but i think SinB looks so pure and natural than jessica but jessica looks so beautiful too .. And there are better singers hidden behind okay singers because of looks.But that's not only a problem with this group it's a problem with all of the these Kgirl groups I feel like the only group that appreciated real talent is mamamoo but the majority of K groups consist of girls that are pretty and they're the lead vocalist versus the girls that actually do know how to sing that is majority of the time in the background. Like I said the girl that look pretty is in the front row and she has a mousy voice but the chick who has a better range is overshowed. It's like that all the time. Look at Miss A Min actually was a better vocalist then Suzy but she got all the attention. No, she made those faces because she has trouble hitting the high notes and making faces helps her hit the notes. Singers have to practice a lot to not make strange faces, but Sinb's facial expressions are part of why I love her.
