When the big boom goes off in episode 3 you can hear this odd insect screech at the same time. I reckon that is a nod to the pain the 'crystals' are in when used like this.
Now that i wonder about Hexcrystals containing consciousness of the brackern, wouldn't it be cool if after it's inevitable rework, Blitzcrank got as an explanation for him becoming sentient, the fact that he became sort of "Mechanical Brackern"? Victor made robot with a mechanical mind (fully preprogrammed to act a certain way), but it's brackern's souls that gave it life and slowly made it sentient, showing it their memories, assimilating it into the hivemind and taking control over it. I think it would have incredible potential for moving the story of brackern and hexcrystals.
My question is this: is Camille's story being retconned a bit? Camille supposedly had her hextech heart installed 50ish years before the time that Arcane takes place. But in the show, it seems like hextech has just been invented, with no previous knowledge of hextech. Were there families (like House Ferros) that had discovered hextech already and were just keeping it completely secret, or has Camille's timeline been moved up to match the new invention of hextech?
Iirc, the dude that make Camille...kinda dies, she was a prototype, Necrit also mentioned in a video how it is possible people knew about hex crystals long ago, but they all kept it secret until they discovered how to make them work, and since no one did...
Either they are retconning Camille's lore to make her younger (which would be a really stupid thing to do and would make her less interesting), or House Ferros has been developing hex tech in secret for decades before Jayce was even born. The latter would make sense why they would go out of their way to be the one sponsoring Jayce and spearheading the public hex tech frontier, because they are the real inventors of the technology and want to take credit for it.
Well, Jayce is using Hextech Crystals to create magic, but as Necrit says, Hextech Crystals can be drained, or use the way Jayce use it... Maybe House Ferros is selling it since decades as a power generator ? Because it's the production of Hextech crystals that made House Ferros this powerful, so it will be weird that they kept it as a secret
knowing that the hex crystals only await for a new host and not exactly another brackern. I just realized, what if the crystal inside seraphine's headgear thingy from her lore. Was actually the hex crystal thinking seraphine is now its new host.

I am really wondering if they will go with the Viktor and Jayce lore like how it originally is since the lore in Arcane is already so different. I really hope that Act 3 has Viktor do the GLORIOUS EVOLUTION. Also what the hell are they changing Camille's lore? Isn't she really old because of Hextech? I didn't know Jayce invented it because if that's true does that mean that NOONE used Hextech before? Maybe this was something that Camille and her house were already doing in secret and Jayce just managed to figure it out. That would be the better option and I hope they go through with it because Camille is an extremely cool character and is terrifying.
Riot should hire Necrit to do a lore check before they have a event that is based on lore, beacause as far as I have understood Necrit knows the lore better then Riot
I mean, kinda depends on what you mean by smartest? Like, Jayce and Viktor are brilliant scientists but Bard knows the secrets of reality and beyond. I think a Rioter confirmed that the three champions who know the most stuff are 3. Zoe 2. Swain 1. Aurelion Sol
Also something interesting to note, there is a good chance that skarner sees synthetic hex crystals as part of his species and that they are also suffering
Really wish seraphine will eventually able to know the crystals contains brackerns souls. (Current lore is retconned) and able to speak up or maybe even lead a protest group against the use of the crystals. I mean her entire character is about voice (singing) why don't make her a protesters that will be the delegations of brackerns voices? ((I just really hope seraphine lore will lead somewhere in the future))
It's not that easy I presume, first I don't think piltovans or zaunites would care, second, camille certainly won't stay silent about that, afterall hex crystals is her family's livelihood. btw hello fellow indonesian👋
@@dvvna I think if riot makes seraphine a well-known character in piltover and zaun as an idol, her voice will carry some influence in the cities (maybe not that big but a starter catalyst for the next plot progression on the conflict?). Just imagine, seraphine will be some kind of LeBlanc for the cities by not confronting people directly but influencing them and manipulate them(?) (She can hear souls, she can easily manipulate them if she wants) Also, it's nice to see another Indonesian necrit fan👋
ARCANE SPOILERS: But in Arcane we see how hex crystals are illegal in Piltover and Jayce is who invented hextech so how did the clan Ferros get rich selling them for years, what was the use of hex crystals before???
Nope, they're illegal only on piltover however they are not illegal on zaun. And we know that since the Zaun gray is the effect of the synthetic hex crystals so obviously Clan Ferros sells their crystals to zaun and other nations such as bilgewater (ex Grave's shotgun is part hextech made by misfortune's parents)
i can be wrong but i believe Benzo and others who were selling to Jayce had somehow gotten their hands on hex crystals and so it was illegal. or it can be that not everyone knows what exactly is a hex crystal and council got rich with.
Geez, people mined Skarner's race for hex tech before the synthetic crystals. Piltover was not kind to them. No wonder there's champions on the roster with his crystals
So it seems like, with arcane and new season league is getting a modernization: most of the older regions like frejlord and noxus will collapse or adapt to the abilities the newer regions possess, like piltover.
So what about Camille ? Did she get upgrated to a robotic human using Hextech before the beginning of Arcana ? The Ferros were already using the HexCrystals as a power source from what I gathered, so Jayce wouldn't be the inventor of Hextech, unlike what's shown in the show.
i cant belief that Necrit is actual an Human being with Body and everything else. i just know his Voice so he could be an AI or some Devil Mind too xD as always, thank you for bringing us the interesting things from this beautiful world to us simple Human beings
Havent started watching but my theory is that Jinx is schizophrenic because she started mind-melding being so close Brackern (Skarner's species) soul crystals (hextech crystals) Hextech in and of itself is a mash of "Hex" and "tech". Hexes are a type of disruption magic, or a curse that is known to "Jinx" things, people, or situations... so Jinx's new name (Since she was previously known as Powder) is a call to the fact that she has been hexed by some form of Brackern Soul-based magic. In IRL occultism, it is widely noted that soul-based magic incurs a Faustian bargain-like debt or has some sort of achilles heel. There is always a cost to using the power of a soul, especially if the soul-power being used isn't your own. Frequently, using your own soul power reduces your lifespan. When the power isn't yours, its almost always a faustian bargain. Also, crystals can literally physically grow in the right conditions. Although since this is magic, it should be noted that the magic component of the crystals may also grow in some way. The Brackern may be a type of reincarnation species who revert to a crystal orb form at end-ofn-life and then re-grow into a new body. But if they are taken out of their growing environment, then that is essentially killing them... at least physically. On the magic/soul-side whatever those crystals are used for would be akin to slave labor where their life force is forcibly extracted or used to power things agaisnt their will. Chemtech, or artificial hextech crystals (homonculuses, basically) is another bag of worms that is also noted in many IRL occult practices. It's *NEVER* good in the long run. In every instance where a being tries to (or does) create life; it never goes smoothly. _Including the Biblical canon of Christianity_
So if by using the crystals you consume the soul of the brakern within them, does that mean that the soul is the one that brings the power to the crystal? That means crystal's magic is a kind of spiritual magic, doesn't it?

Excuse me? They actually recognized Necrit's work but still won't bring him into their lore team? Only way to make him work for them is to commission him I guess 🧐.
he is not a writer, he's a theorist and narrator
well, if he writes something i would probably read it
The fact they didn't retcon the Brakern is genuinely surprising
Skarner: Yes... very. i suppose i'll continue snipping the heads from their miners in secret then...
Thanks Rito and Thanks Nicret, this is amazing
We all know that Ryze was the one who saved Jayce and his mother, he damn near uses his ult to teleport everyone away :S
cept he aint blue
since when do Ryze use a staff? Maybe he's connected to the strange magician, but so far it's only speculation.
@@Lee-lm2bn I have a question from where did jayce find so many blue stones and where is that magical blue stones are found in which places in arcane series
We know that wizard show him only one stone but from where did jauce find so many blue stone
Good 4 u Necrit, hope everything is going great 😀
in true damage mv there is a building named Ferros i wounder if it is hinting at something cos arcane was also teased in true damage mv
I think Shimmer is deff void related
Riot should hire Necrit to do a lore check before they have a event that is based on lore, beacause as far as I have understood Necrit knows the lore better then Riot
amazing as always
Could you make a video about the 10-5 smartest champions according to the lore?
That'd be an awesome concept for a video, but with Arcane right now I doubt he will have time for this type of videos for a while xD
Singed was mentioned in the credits of Arcane. The guy making the purple for Silko must be a young Singed.
It was Singed, it is also in the subtitles when he speaks.
Just imagine, seraphine will be some kind of LeBlanc for the cities by not confronting people directly but influencing them and manipulate them(?) (She can hear souls, she can easily manipulate them if she wants)
Also, it's nice to see another Indonesian necrit fan👋
Powder: My monkey bomb finally worked!
Mylo and Claggor: ...
Vander: ...
Singed: ...
Thousands of Brackerns: AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!
So happy for you Necrit!
Now that we have Albus Ferros in LoR. I'd love for the Ferros to show up in Arcane.
They did mention them at the start of episode 2. I doubt they'll leave them out of the show.
Awesome work man!
Can't wait to see Camille appear in Arcane
I come for a little tidbit of information
I go with a slight heartbreak
ARCANE SPOILERS:
But in Arcane we see how hex crystals are illegal in Piltover and Jayce is who invented hextech so how did the clan Ferros get rich selling them for years, what was the use of hex crystals before???
i think you just found a plothole
Nope, they're illegal only on piltover however they are not illegal on zaun. And we know that since the Zaun gray is the effect of the synthetic hex crystals so obviously Clan Ferros sells their crystals to zaun and other nations such as bilgewater (ex Grave's shotgun is part hextech made by misfortune's parents)
Just because something is illegal does not mean it cannot be done.
There's about to be a 10ish year timeskip, that's plenty of time for House Ferros to exploit the new industry.
i can be wrong but i believe Benzo and others who were selling to Jayce had somehow gotten their hands on hex crystals and so it was illegal.
or it can be that not everyone knows what exactly is a hex crystal and council got rich with.
I would love if Brackern is remodeled to be the firstborn of runterra
So what about Camille ? Did she get upgrated to a robotic human using Hextech before the beginning of Arcana ? The Ferros were already using the HexCrystals as a power source from what I gathered, so Jayce wouldn't be the inventor of Hextech, unlike what's shown in the show.
i cant belief that Necrit is actual an Human being with Body and everything else. i just know his Voice so he could be an AI or some Devil Mind too xD
as always, thank you for bringing us the interesting things from this beautiful world to us simple Human beings
Congrats. You deserve the recognition and success :}
Damn. basically it's similar to FMAB Philosopher's stones. Souls used for magical power.
Necrit, i wouldn't be surprised if riot wanted to hire you for their lore team.
if jayce finds out the he will be on a sad depression state crying in his room
maaaaybe with the chemtech crystals they can stabilize them and pass the memories of the Brackern into to them to save their race
Welcome to anime analysis community necrit
Love the piltover hat
Necrit using a waistcoat and pyjamas, 10/10
So it's something kind of a philosopher's stone....
Necrit is our lore master 😁
Havent started watching but my theory is that Jinx is schizophrenic because she started mind-melding being so close Brackern (Skarner's species) soul crystals (hextech crystals)
Hextech in and of itself is a mash of "Hex" and "tech".
Is there any other kind of magic though?
3:08 are we getting seraphine? Since her lore is all about Hextech crystals.
we'll see a very Smol Seraphine sitting somewhere maybe lol.
