Thats my hometown Savannah. I've fished that Jetty many times over my 59 years of life, was just out there about two months ago. Me and my dad would fish out there when I was about 10 years old and it always produced great fish. Spending 20 years in the Army took me away for a long time from Tybee Island fishing, but God willing when I retire in 3 years, I'm leaving Atlanta and moving back home and get back to my roots fishing the jetties....Thank you for the video!!
The Slam Shady in freshwater is awesome. The LMB love it. Even the big bluegill will suck it in, caught 2 little channels on it last night. I live in Florence and I work in Manning. I try to hit some spots everday. Would love to be able to do some saltwater fishing.
Thanks for the video. I have folks coming from out of state to fish with me and I was wondering; is the Savannah jetty fishing typically a reliable spot for a catch? And secondly, is the jetty above water for high tide? Thanks
@@charlestoninshorefishing1932 It ain’t easy Kerry! Takes a lot of weight, and patience to put together a plan when it’s ripping out! Caught 12 trout today though with 8ft tide, but we had to work for everyone😬
Thank You Dan for bringing awareness to Releaseover20! That big girl will produce around 20 million plus eggs because you released her. Influencers Influence and you are what RUclips is hungry for.
Sorry but that green rod looks like something that a tourist would buy at a gas station just before they reached the beach. I know ot's not but it l99ks like it.
Lol that too funny. That’s actually a $220 St Croix Avid Inshore rod. About as far away from a gas station rod as it comes. I can see tho how others would think that.

Great video, love the Release Over 20"
Slam Shady is an awesome color that just works in freshwater and saltwater, I think it's Z-man's #1 color
Are you fishing the Carolina side or Georgia??

How do you decide which area of the Jetties you will fish?
Is bait present, working birds, which side is cleaner, which side has less current, last resort side scan and look for them
