This video shot at the 2006 Skeptics Society Conference ( www.skeptic.com/ ). Thanks again, Dr. Michael Shermer.
"If you cant't remember where you parked your car...and you're in it..." is one of the best lines on the album.
One of my favorite Roy lines ever. Comparable only to "Now Ted's a little Haggard, but he's thankful for the schism...though you might find it hard to swallow...the syllogism." :D
Are you sure Jeff Foxworthy or Bill Engvall didn't already say this 🤔 in a comedy monolog ? This line had me in stitches 🤣! More please 🙏!
I laughed out loud and then got goose bumbs. Love this guy and I think I´m rediscovering his music, but maybe it´s just a flashback. : )
I still believe in peace and love! And I love this song.
Speaking as someone raised by hippies... *grin*
I liked it. :)
Brilliant songwriting! I especially loved the inner rhymes.🙌💯🙌
So clever...need this guy in this world
Karen Bishop he's still around making new parody songs all the time!
Excellent!! My favorite yet!
Happy Birthday Roy and I'm glad to be a Psychedelic Relic just like you! :)
You rock! Love your music!
Priceless! This just about had me on the floor, Roy, because I AM one. LOL
I'm glad it has many more views than that, but it deserves even more!
Musically this is my favorite Zimmerman tune by far. This melody just sticks with me.
Brilliant chord progression!
Roy always brings it! Thanks Roy!
Nice! Love the songs.
Yay! My all-time favorite RZ song! Dig it!
Peace and happiness,
~C.A.~
@MachiLikesRed I figured that out once, but I forgot it by morning. Going for a PhD but have lots of blanks. Just don't go too psychedelic; keep your goals in mind (college, major, job, etc) and have fun. 15 was where I began a slide towards nearly missing out on these, but I got lucky and got straightened out a bit. I'm done lecturing :)
this song is awesome haha so well composed!
This is up there with the best of PPM
Whooo! Old-school Roy!
I'm 21, and these references are brilliant.
bravo!
Nice add to the 40th ann. of Woodstock.
Great!
Thanks for the fun Roy.
Now all we need is the Joni song, and we're SET! :D
This reminds me of my good old days. I wonder how many young'uns can get his many references. Purple Haze all in my brain
Lately things just don't seem the same.
Always fun
NICE!!!
True, the other stereochannel keeps cutting out.
Great song, Roy, as always.
The audio was a bit busted for me, so I had to check the lyrics at your site. I noticed that they're slightly different - do you modify your songs all the time, even after they're recorded on a CD?
Thanks for sharing.
Tune in, turn on, and drop out haha! Very nice :D
Now this hurts, it really hurts. Why not pick on someone else for a change? We hippies got feelings, you know!
Desertphile Taking advantage of the fact that I am drunk, I need to thank you for you were one of my first sources on skepticism and atheism videos. Thank you very much Mr. Desertphile!
I think this is your best one yet...
A child of two psyychedelic relics. :-D
This is my anthem.
Absolutely Brilliant! Beatles FTW!
Signing in here, Roy, as old hippies,_____ &____
Life goes on within
And without you goo goo g'joob
I died laughing with this one. Genius!
RIP
WTG I Love this.... I must be a Psychedelic Relic Like Youuuuuuuuuu . LOL
give us a "How and why to play" on this one soon.
Oh, I remember what the dormouse said.
Understood maybe 80% of the song. Thankfully my dad was around to explain the remaining 20%...after he'd finish laughing hysterically, of course.
audio doesn't seem quite right
Great Song Roy!
Can someone tell me what is the original music? in tags there's reference to the beatles and jefferson airplane , but i'd love to get the actual name of the song.
And I AM THE WALRUS.
I really wish I could listen to this, the sound quality is so bad, the cracking hurts my ears. =(
@MachiLikesRed then your a physcadelic relic, what does it mean?
nice one, roy!!!! i like the line about the "ear hair".... muhahahahaha
Farm Out!
Outastate!
Right arm!
Gravy, man!
WAVY Gravy, too~~~~
He forgot the "Goo goo g'joob" and, of course, the "I am the Walrus."
I, too, believe in peace and love.
and Billy Shears.
This was great, but I still have to go with "Summer of Loving V. Virginia". :)
@MachiLikesRed... Or so they led you to believe
595 people prefer hallucination to the nation as it is :)
Catherine Gordeyev And 8 yrs later the nation seems like we surely must be on one bad trip. Please make it stop!
This is just funny!!
The beginning reminds me of the Beatles!
@MachiLikesRed @happytree1233
Apparently not, since the original lyrics are "yellow MATTER custard" ...
LOL ;-)
My middle aged ass is listening....ok.. Thanks.
10 people had a real bad trip:-)
I think he's talking about my parents!
Brilliant. Our generation's Tom Lehrer.
Roy, where's that video in which you play the song about the crippled boy? You deleted it? :(
A little trouble with the sound, but the ear hair was funny.
Beatles references too :P Hahaha this is good stuff.
@OrionoftheStar
baby , don't hurt me no more !
At least 1200 of the views on this vid are mine. My friends are grateful I'm not dead! haha, great line(s).
ROFL!!! That was hilarious!
Always great. And he would love yours if we could just get him to pay attention to you. Guess he doesn't know you're headed for 300 subs! Or maybe he doesn't like cats.
i vote for a how to video!!! :)
10 people can't tell what the hell he's talkin' about.
@MachiLikesRed
No you don't. John Lennon wasn't all that sure himself.
Pause at 3:03 and he totally looks like Dick Cheney! lol ;)
im a psychedelic relic :D !!!
Nah, you know that Mr. Zimmerman is kidding with you :P
i'm 30 and i got most of these references :D
I'm 20 and so did I.
I'm 12 and what is this
+crazymarf I'm 8 months old and... gah gah.
