You should try it! Nitro is incredible, I absolutely love the smell and sound lol of course electric is way more powerful and so much easier and simpler! I try my best to make these videos very informational and helpful to everyone and share a little bit of the knowledge I have learned over the years. I hope all is well with you and your family as well!

@@westhobbiesrc8051 Thanks for the good wishes Jeff! When I was young I used to ride & eventually Race Dirt bikes, loved the smell of 2 stroke exhaust. Unfortunately, now with my Migraines... not even a 10 minute Flight time can get me anywhere near the noise & fumes. Oh to be young again! Take care and stay safe my friend!

Very much enjoy watching your video as I am building a raw 580 nitro following your steps, I am using the Align magnet sensor mounted under the fan, please tell me where the 3 wires supposed to go on the ikon2? Thanks again

You’re welcome! I hope the video is useful, so no matter what sensor you’re using the set up will all be the same. You’re going to plug the sensor into the governor ports of the iKon.

Hey Jeff! Currently have a Futaba GV-1 govenor and just bought a Ikon2 for this heli. I would like to use the Ikon's nitro govenor with gv-1 sensor. Have you heard anything about this setup using this sensor? Thanks buddy

I have a question here, why doy you set all values of the governor in normal mode but in the tab of flight modes (where do you select beginner, sport, acro, 3D) don’t check the “use governor”?

Oh man I’m still waiting to get a vbar control 😂😂. Sold my nx10 and now mainly flying with the tx16s but still running ikon until i can get a vbc( got 3 neos already)

I absolutely love my IX12 and iKon setup! I have played with the control a little bit and it is a cool radio system! I definitely won’t be switching lol I don’t ever use my TX 16 S anymore. It has given me quite a few issues with radio signal and I crashed my M1 and M2 from radio lost so I will no longer trust it in any other model. But I did just get a Frsky X 20 S that I’ve been playing with and that is a incredible radio!

@@westhobbiesrc8051 yeah i lost 2 drones because of the tx16s signal and now using tbs crossfire with no problems. But about the vbc i tried it and loved the simplicity of it and it switches between models or other than my preference i was going to get a jeti

V control is nice! It’s definitely simple but so is spektrum. Especially if you’re running a SRXL2 and iKon. Plus I have a lot of models and I am the kind of person where I don’t like multiple radios, so I want one radio for everything lol

That is very interesting. I’ve been having some signal loss issues with tx16s too. What protocol were you using? Was it a FrSky protocol, by any chance ?

Please advised me on how to setup Ikon 2 nitro bailout. I’ve setup governor it has Slow throttle movement. So now my bailout have slow recovery back to full speed. I run Spektrum dx9

Had my first flight with my dx9 raw 700 OS105 nitro ikon Governor switched on. Couldn't get out of a hover due to serious throttle pulsing. Flicked back into bank/setup 1 no Governor pulsing went away.
Switched Governor off on all 3 banks. No pulsing.
Also still have no idea how to setup bailout on ikon with Governor.
      This is frustrating.

@@haydengreen1707 okay, is it reading RPM in the iKon? Are you running flat curves? Do you have the sensor all the way against the back plate? I prefer the Xgaurd back plate sensor. But the spektrum one works too.
