I once, while sitting on a toilet in High School, playing with a lighter, lit some toilet paper on fire, that was still on the roll, and that stuff burned so fast. I am sitting there, with pants down, taking a poop, in a near abandoned part of the school, and I gave in to those intrusive thoughts, and lit the toilet paper on fire. I have never told anyone this story, it was one of the dumbest things my ADHD ass has done. I did manage to put the fire out fast though, but the fact I did it WHILE pants down on the toilet, was not very smart.
Same, only a few crazy things happened at my schools, like the ceiling collapsed in high school due to excessive rain, so they cut power to the entire school and sent us all home. In middle school someone lit a trach can on fire, otherwise it was all completely normal

looking back on it all, i think being neurodivergent made social interactions hard for me (but i honestly never noticed it) until as an adult i realized how mean people were, but not everyone is like this now. the best part about growing up is that I honestly can pick and choose who my friends are (especially online!!)

20+ years ago, when I was in high school, a new JROTC instructor was brought in and he apparently had a field day with the female students when they were being fitted for uniforms.
The weird quiet kid at my school who was absolutely bullied into the ground daily never brought a weapon to school because, and I quote, "why would I rush any sort of payback by bringing a weapon to school? I know where you sleep, and nobody would be around, so I could take my time dealing as much pain as you cause me" so after that day everyone got anxious about his bullies being sick or "sick" if they didn't show up

Personal confession; I've hijack the school's shop to create an illegal candy shop, selling merch of the town 200% the price. Did 120€ in five month and even sold some to teachers before the principal got wind of it and started to investigate the four we were at the shop, when I decided it was time to close business :')
I think the grenade story might be real because I did something similar. Me and my friends were military history enthusiasts in high school and I got poor grades in the past semester so I was grounded. I had bought a real grenade with the explosives removed from a flea market and I was excited to show my friends but couldn’t because I was grounded. So i went to school wearing a camouflage military jacket (a real one, not from a clothing store) that I bought at a military surplus store because it was the only jacket I owned with big enough pockets to fit the grenade. Since I thought it was cool and I was excited, I showed a few people on the school bus. Later during the day I got escorted out of class by my principal and a police officer and they had me go to my locker and give them the grenade. There were like a dozen cops, and I still remember the scared cop holding my grenade with his arms extended and a scared look in his eyes. I never got my grenade back, but nobody in school ever bullied me again and my dad never grounded me again.

Relate to Mari a lot here. I also got bullied all throughout school and was the weird kid. Consequence: I make it my mission to find all the weird kids because 1) weird kids gotta stick together, 2) weird kids can make great friends, and 3) according to my weird friends, I'm weirder than all of them, and I have to brag about my weirdness to weird kids. When I was in like 8th grade, I was hanging out with one of my friend group at the time and I made a joke about selling coke (not the soda). One of the dudes gets all mad and accuses me of calling him a crackhead and tells me to leave the friend group for a few days. I respected his wishes and stayed out for a bit, but when I came back, he was still hung up on the whole crackhead thing and told me I was no longer welcome in the friend group. Fast forward to senior year of hs, I'm talking with my teachers in the sped room and brought up the crackhead thing. His gf, who was sitting in the room with us, starts laughing her ahh off. To be fair, there is a line that is being crossed when making fun of those kids. Its fine to make fun of someone for their weight because that’s something they can CHANGE. you can’t, however, change who your mother is so making fun of them is kind of not in any way meaningful Remember, only bully others to change them for the better.
The schools in my town are all really close. One building has Kindergarten to second grade, another one has grades 3 to 6 and is "glued" to secondary school with even a door to pass in between the 2. All this to say when 1 thing happens in one of them, pretty much all of them are on high alert with how close they are. All have very few students too, so rumors and information spread REALLY fast to everyone. I'm in 6th Grade, spring 2015. Everyone in the school is quickly evacuated to the town's church's basement (literally a parking lot away). They don't tell us anything and just make us walk there. (I only know where my part was moved to, no idea where the grades under 3 were moved (if they were) or the grades above 6). HOURS go by with all of us just waiting with a few teachers in the basement with absolutely nothing to do. We were all in class so no one had their games or phones and we just wait, lunch time was part of that time, so we were also hungry. We still know nothing about what is happening, so rumors began and you can bet they were crazy. I don't know how but information spreads among us that a student brought a gun to the secondary school, turns out that it's exactly why we were there. Eventually they make us all get back in the school like nothing happened. Turns out the student that brought the gun, yeah, he essentially brought an airsoft gun. i.e. something almost inoffensive. But it looked so much like an actual gun. That evening, my school was in the news... for 10s. I sorta wish that was a joke but no. They just said someone brought an airsoft gun to the school with a 2s video of the students getting back in and passed to something else. My town is really poorly known, a lot of people in the neighboring town don't know we exist. The following year they implemented the White Code, essentially what to do if someone armed enters the school, we did a practice for that every year just like a fire alarm since then, and they still do it. So at least the schools learned from it and got prepared for the future possibilities. Oh and bonus story: when I was in 4th Grade, my mother came to pick me up. My sister was on her shoulder next to the fire alarm, take a guess at to what happened. I was already outside at that moment so I couldn't even hear it, but I saw everyone exiting too and I thought it was weird. My friends and I still joked about it more than 7 years later.
I'd like to contribute to this madness. Here's a collection of 10 topics, events, or otherwise that transpired around me. I haven't been in college long enough for weird things to happen so most of these are from middle and high school. Mostly middle since I was in Florida. These are all true stories and are exactly why I dont doubt most of the video's stories are also true. 1. The Nightmare Jug: in middle school i had brought a large bottle of juice to a class event. Afterward I forgot said jug for about a week in my locker. Me and a few friends in our infinite stupidity decided to start adding random shit to the bottle. Charchoal, pen ink, highlighters, hand sanitizer, yeast, lemon juice, glue, a few other things we had gathered over the next week. That i then promptly left in my locker over spring break. The result was a gelatinous purple, black, and white rubberry and oily mass that smelled like sharpies, gasoline, rot, and alcohol. It was so pungent and even appeard to move on its own, so people basically turned the thing into an urban legend. Some people including myself started making art of creatures that would come from it and others wrote or talked about it. But yeah, me and some friends made a blob monster story and it started with spoiled grape juice. 2. Weird things in bathrooms! The same middle school had loads of things in its bathrooms. - A few stalls in different boys bathrooms had their doors ripped off the hinges by students. Whether screwing around, fighting, or breaking into stalls it happened at least 4 times in my 3 years there. Not to me, but during my time there. - Poocasso. There was some Vile f>cker that would paint portraits on the walls of the bathroom in fecal material. Even the staff referred to him as Poocasso. - That's not meant to be there! My weirdest encounter was going to the bathroom in a lesser used hallway. One toilet was broken, and the other two were clogged so the handicap stall it was... if only there wasnt AN ENTIRE CAR BATTERY inside of it. How someone even got it there is a mystery. - Drugs. There were needles, cigarette butts, vapes, mini alcohol bottles, lean kits (empty sprites, nyquil, and jolly rancher wrappers), and on three occasions police were called. One for some kids smoking weed, two for some selling. This was again middle school. 6th-8th grade. 11-14 or 15 years old. - the Stalegmites and stalagtites. On the ceiling of basically every bathroom were these long cones of toilet paper people would soak in water and through up there. Eventually making the ceiling tiles look like small caves. 3. Loli-bucks. I don't know how it started but hundreds possibly thousands of little peices of monopoly with a various anime lolis replacing the presidents circulated the middle school like trading cards. 4. Cafeteria choir. In a total of 4 instances groups of students randomly started singing "all star" and other songs. On the 5th and final time this happened a decent majority of the cafeteria got involved. 5. The Shmentai dealers: a group had formed that collected the names of, reviewed, and recommended different "offbrand" to fellow 7th and 8th graders. I didnt know what it was and was changed forever by Itadaki Seikei. 6. This is straight of a musical. Someone was playing music on a bluetooth speaker and a group of about 30 students danced down the hallway in sync. More people gradually joined them. That was a fun 12 minute excursion. 7. Iguana sled. I went to middle school in florida. I was in the gifted program and wanted to do a presentation on native and invasive wildlife. So i caught invasive toads, snails, brown anoles, and planned to catch an iguana. I made a large cardboard sled with a cage specifically for said iguana. The teacher said no to the iguana, so i just used the sled to carry my other stuff and dragged a few friends around the halls. 8. Under the bleachers. We had one gym in the school and 1 set of bleachers that ran its entire length. Creating a dark cave like space. In the most far inward point we found tons of things. From expected stuff like pencils, papers, lost notebooks, and stuff. To soda cans, snacks, and... very used condoms and scattered clothing. 9. Flashers. A group of girls well known and despised for bullying other girls would pretty frequently get themselves suspended or in some other form of trouble for lifting their shirts and flashing everyone just to make fun of how other 11-15 old girls chests hadn't developed the way theirs did. It sound like a bad anime plot line but after 2 months of it guys stopped freaking out, and after a year of it people got really sick of it. It is hilarious thinking back on it now, how many people cringed at the sight of some idiot's boobs. I think at least one of them was expelled. 10. The track trees. The only place outside of bathrooms and the bleachers students got caught bangin. Interestingly this was consistent across every school I went to. Middle school, and all 3 high schools. For whatever reason people would get laid at the far off trees. That concluded the stories! The Islamic one is highly believable, the middle east is way more Alabama than what we think Alabama is. As for my confession, I had a science class with a very eccentric teacher. She was no holds barred, will say it as it is, and is not afraid to go a little crazy. One day in her class we had a lesson on dry ice, one person suggested making dry ice bombs in the class and throw them outside. She was like "alright let's do it." and yeah we made about 5 of them using pop bottles and tossed them outside for them to blow up. Was pretty fun. Also that same teacher had a CD of "Shaggy" you know the one that sings "She's my guardian angel." but that is his cleanest song. The rest are very raunchy songs, and yeah we sometimes played that in the classroom. Mostly during study times or or just work sessions.
So far in the 11 and a half years I have been at schools (10 years in Germany, plus 1 and a half years in Sweden) nothing really crazy happened. The most notable thing I can remember off the top of my head was when our school's choir group accidentally set off the fire alarm with fake smoke when I was in 6th grade. I mean, I wasn't against reducing the amount of fake smoke, because I am really sensitive to certain smells and could barely breathe without coughing or almost throwing up when only a whiff of that fake smoke was in the air.

So, as to how people can "fake" injuries, you would be surprised. I've met people who would physically hurt themselves, or have friends do it for attention. This tacticworks until people learn about it, and it ruins them. Its rare, but happens. And given how OP said most people hated the pick me, its likely the principal wasn't a fan either, and was liekly wanting something to use to get rid of her.
How is any of this possible, the most interesting thing about all my years of school experiences is that a few kids died my senior year due to I believe health complications, and COVID hit my 8th grade year as I was on a 3 day field trip to Savannah GA while having tickets to that year’s NASCAR race in Atlanta which I was going to attend with my real dad who I only knew for a couple years and my older half brother. Plus I was autistic enough to be considered a severe Asperger. Which made ADHD and depression a nightmare to get through on many occasions.

HS weirdness: My driver's ed teacher got arrested for driving drunk. And with his license already suspended. Everyone who did the class with him who didn't have a drivers license had to retake driver's ed. Also, one of the english teachers and one of the history teachers were often caught making out, they were married to each other, but we had rules about public display of affection. The girls' gym teacher and the Latin teacher were a couple, but they were married to other people, and that state of affairs existed when my mother went to the same high school (their spouses were a couple to, both marriages were cover and I"m old).

I have a confession. It’s nothing crazy but I was friends with this one girl who was giving out free condoms to our classmates. She wanted people to practice safe sex Another confession: During my freshman year of high school my principal was suspended and we got a substitute principal. When asked the teachers and staff about the situation they didn’t know anything but when I asked my classmates everyone kept saying the same thing (It could have been just a rumor but still), he was texting students. This within itself isn’t bad because students and teachers would text each other things like “Remember the test is on this date” or “Hey, I’m having trouble understanding what you taught in class today”. So I figured out that the problem could have been *what* he was texting them. A few days later I found out that it was the girls he might have been texting. However I never found out the conclusion to this because I had changed schools at the beginning of the second semester. I had actually met and talked to the principal a few times before this crazy situation.
Okay last confession I swear: During the last day before winter break in 2019, I arrived at school and noticed that there weren’t many people at school. I didn’t think much of it at first but then a bunch of police showed up. As it turns out a group chat got leaked and a group of students talked about bringing guns to school and having a gang war with another group of students. Thank god this never happened but it was on the news in my state and throughout that day I made mental note of the multiple exits near my classes

When I was in school, all the way from Kindergarten till the day I Graduated I had NO Friends, I was Bullied, I a Loner, I never even had a Girlfriend, and this persisted even after Graduating.
I had the best time in 3rd grade. One time dring lunch, me and a few friends went on a wall near a hill in the assembly ground and tossed pinecones to each other. A few of us (including me) were on the wall picking up the pinecones and throwing at the ones below. It was all peaceful until one person threw a pineppne at another person below pretty hard. Next monent, there were a bunch of us on the wall fighting the ones on the ground by throwing pinecones to them. It was war. The whole process was to pick a pinecone, throw it at them, take cover and repeat. That was the best lunch break i had in forever.
My more frecuent nightmares are having to poop in the most disfunctional school bathrooms, they are always without door or with a small one that allows everyone to watch inside, or very dirty or completely crowded or my clothes get lost and I'm walking around naked or using only a small towel 😢

The weird quiet kid at my school who was absolutely bullied into the ground daily never brought a weapon to school because, and I quote, "why would I rush any sort of payback by bringing a weapon to school? I know where you sleep, and nobody would be around, so I could take my time dealing as much pain as you cause me" so after that day everyone got anxious about his bullies being sick or "sick" if they didn't show up

Me and my friends were military history enthusiasts in high school and I got poor grades in the past semester so I was grounded.
I had bought a real grenade with the explosives removed from a flea market and I was excited to show my friends but couldn’t because I was grounded.
So i went to school wearing a camouflage military jacket (a real one, not from a clothing store) that I bought at a military surplus store because it was the only jacket I owned with big enough pockets to fit the grenade.
Since I thought it was cool and I was excited, I showed a few people on the school bus.
Later during the day I got escorted out of class by my principal and a police officer and they had me go to my locker and give them the grenade.
There were like a dozen cops, and I still remember the scared cop holding my grenade with his arms extended and a scared look in his eyes.
I never got my grenade back, but nobody in school ever bullied me again and my dad never grounded me again.

When I was in like 8th grade, I was hanging out with one of my friend group at the time and I made a joke about selling coke (not the soda). One of the dudes gets all mad and accuses me of calling him a crackhead and tells me to leave the friend group for a few days. I respected his wishes and stayed out for a bit, but when I came back, he was still hung up on the whole crackhead thing and told me I was no longer welcome in the friend group. Fast forward to senior year of hs, I'm talking with my teachers in the sped room and brought up the crackhead thing. His gf, who was sitting in the room with us, starts laughing her ahh off. I asked her what was so funny and she told me that he STILL TALKED ABOUT IT 5 years later! It's enough to make you wonder...

The schools in my town are all really close. One building has Kindergarten to second grade, another one has grades 3 to 6 and is "glued" to secondary school with even a door to pass in between the 2. All this to say when 1 thing happens in one of them, pretty much all of them are on high alert with how close they are. All have very few students too, so rumors and information spread REALLY fast to everyone.
I'm in 6th Grade, spring 2015. Everyone in the school is quickly evacuated to the town's church's basement (literally a parking lot away). They don't tell us anything and just make us walk there. (I only know where my part was moved to, no idea where the grades under 3 were moved (if they were) or the grades above 6).
HOURS go by with all of us just waiting with a few teachers in the basement with absolutely nothing to do. We were all in class so no one had their games or phones and we just wait, lunch time was part of that time, so we were also hungry. We still know nothing about what is happening, so rumors began and you can bet they were crazy. I don't know how but information spreads among us that a student brought a gun to the secondary school, turns out that it's exactly why we were there.
Eventually they make us all get back in the school like nothing happened. Turns out the student that brought the gun, yeah, he essentially brought an airsoft gun. i.e. something almost inoffensive. But it looked so much like an actual gun.
That evening, my school was in the news... for 10s. I sorta wish that was a joke but no. They just said someone brought an airsoft gun to the school with a 2s video of the students getting back in and passed to something else. My town is really poorly known, a lot of people in the neighboring town don't know we exist.
The following year they implemented the White Code, essentially what to do if someone armed enters the school, we did a practice for that every year just like a fire alarm since then, and they still do it. So at least the schools learned from it and got prepared for the future possibilities.
Oh and bonus story: when I was in 4th Grade, my mother came to pick me up. My sister was on her shoulder next to the fire alarm, take a guess at to what happened. I was already outside at that moment so I couldn't even hear it, but I saw everyone exiting too and I thought it was weird. My friends and I still joked about it more than 7 years later.

I'd like to contribute to this madness. Here's a collection of 10 topics, events, or otherwise that transpired around me. I haven't been in college long enough for weird things to happen so most of these are from middle and high school. Mostly middle since I was in Florida.
These are all true stories and are exactly why I dont doubt most of the video's stories are also true.
1. The Nightmare Jug: in middle school i had brought a large bottle of juice to a class event. Afterward I forgot said jug for about a week in my locker. Me and a few friends in our infinite stupidity decided to start adding random shit to the bottle.
Charchoal, pen ink, highlighters, hand sanitizer, yeast, lemon juice, glue, a few other things we had gathered over the next week. That i then promptly left in my locker over spring break.
The result was a gelatinous purple, black, and white rubberry and oily mass that smelled like sharpies, gasoline, rot, and alcohol.
It was so pungent and even appeard to move on its own, so people basically turned the thing into an urban legend. Some people including myself started making art of creatures that would come from it and others wrote or talked about it.
But yeah, me and some friends made a blob monster story and it started with spoiled grape juice.
2. Weird things in bathrooms!
The same middle school had loads of things in its bathrooms.
- A few stalls in different boys bathrooms had their doors ripped off the hinges by students. Whether screwing around, fighting, or breaking into stalls it happened at least 4 times in my 3 years there. Not to me, but during my time there.
- Poocasso. There was some Vile f>cker that would paint portraits on the walls of the bathroom in fecal material. Even the staff referred to him as Poocasso.
- That's not meant to be there! My weirdest encounter was going to the bathroom in a lesser used hallway. One toilet was broken, and the other two were clogged so the handicap stall it was... if only there wasnt AN ENTIRE CAR BATTERY inside of it. How someone even got it there is a mystery.
- Drugs. There were needles, cigarette butts, vapes, mini alcohol bottles, lean kits (empty sprites, nyquil, and jolly rancher wrappers), and on three occasions police were called. One for some kids smoking weed, two for some selling. This was again middle school. 6th-8th grade. 11-14 or 15 years old.
- the Stalegmites and stalagtites. On the ceiling of basically every bathroom were these long cones of toilet paper people would soak in water and through up there. Eventually making the ceiling tiles look like small caves.
3. Loli-bucks. I don't know how it started but hundreds possibly thousands of little peices of monopoly with a various anime lolis replacing the presidents circulated the middle school like trading cards.
4. Cafeteria choir. In a total of 4 instances groups of students randomly started singing "all star" and other songs. On the 5th and final time this happened a decent majority of the cafeteria got involved.
5. The Shmentai dealers: a group had formed that collected the names of, reviewed, and recommended different "offbrand" to fellow 7th and 8th graders. I didnt know what it was and was changed forever by Itadaki Seikei.
6. This is straight of a musical. Someone was playing music on a bluetooth speaker and a group of about 30 students danced down the hallway in sync. More people gradually joined them. That was a fun 12 minute excursion.
7. Iguana sled. I went to middle school in florida. I was in the gifted program and wanted to do a presentation on native and invasive wildlife. So i caught invasive toads, snails, brown anoles, and planned to catch an iguana. I made a large cardboard sled with a cage specifically for said iguana. The teacher said no to the iguana, so i just used the sled to carry my other stuff and dragged a few friends around the halls.
8. Under the bleachers. We had one gym in the school and 1 set of bleachers that ran its entire length. Creating a dark cave like space. In the most far inward point we found tons of things. From expected stuff like pencils, papers, lost notebooks, and stuff. To soda cans, snacks, and... very used condoms and scattered clothing.
9. Flashers. A group of girls well known and despised for bullying other girls would pretty frequently get themselves suspended or in some other form of trouble for lifting their shirts and flashing everyone just to make fun of how other 11-15 old girls chests hadn't developed the way theirs did. It sound like a bad anime plot line but after 2 months of it guys stopped freaking out, and after a year of it people got really sick of it. It is hilarious thinking back on it now, how many people cringed at the sight of some idiot's boobs. I think at least one of them was expelled.
10. The track trees. The only place outside of bathrooms and the bleachers students got caught bangin. Interestingly this was consistent across every school I went to. Middle school, and all 3 high schools. For whatever reason people would get laid at the far off trees.

As for my confession, I had a science class with a very eccentric teacher. She was no holds barred, will say it as it is, and is not afraid to go a little crazy. One day in her class we had a lesson on dry ice, one person suggested making dry ice bombs in the class and throw them outside. She was like "alright let's do it." and yeah we made about 5 of them using pop bottles and tossed them outside for them to blow up. Was pretty fun.
Also that same teacher had a CD of "Shaggy" you know the one that sings "She's my guardian angel." but that is his cleanest song. The rest are very raunchy songs, and yeah we sometimes played that in the classroom. Mostly during study times or or just work sessions.
So far in the 11 and a half years I have been at schools (10 years in Germany, plus 1 and a half years in Sweden) nothing really crazy happened. The most notable thing I can remember off the top of my head was when our school's choir group accidentally set off the fire alarm with fake smoke when I was in 6th grade. I mean, I wasn't against reducing the amount of fake smoke, because I am really sensitive to certain smells and could barely breathe without coughing or almost throwing up when only a whiff of that fake smoke was in the air.

So, as to how people can "fake" injuries, you would be surprised. I've met people who would physically hurt themselves, or have friends do it for attention. This tacticworks until people learn about it, and it ruins them. Its rare, but happens. And given how OP said most people hated the pick me, its likely the principal wasn't a fan either, and was liekly wanting something to use to get rid of her.
How is any of this possible, the most interesting thing about all my years of school experiences is that a few kids died my senior year due to I believe health complications, and COVID hit my 8th grade year as I was on a 3 day field trip to Savannah GA while having tickets to that year’s NASCAR race in Atlanta which I was going to attend with my real dad who I only knew for a couple years and my older half brother. Plus I was autistic enough to be considered a severe Asperger. Which made ADHD and depression a nightmare to get through on many occasions.

HS weirdness: My driver's ed teacher got arrested for driving drunk. And with his license already suspended. Everyone who did the class with him who didn't have a drivers license had to retake driver's ed. Also, one of the english teachers and one of the history teachers were often caught making out, they were married to each other, but we had rules about public display of affection. The girls' gym teacher and the Latin teacher were a couple, but they were married to other people, and that state of affairs existed when my mother went to the same high school (their spouses were a couple to, both marriages were cover and I"m old).

Another confession: During my freshman year of high school my principal was suspended and we got a substitute principal. When asked the teachers and staff about the situation they didn’t know anything but when I asked my classmates everyone kept saying the same thing (It could have been just a rumor but still), he was texting students. This within itself isn’t bad because students and teachers would text each other things like “Remember the test is on this date” or “Hey, I’m having trouble understanding what you taught in class today”. So I figured out that the problem could have been *what* he was texting them. A few days later I found out that it was the girls he might have been texting. However I never found out the conclusion to this because I had changed schools at the beginning of the second semester. I had actually met and talked to the principal a few times before this crazy situation.
Okay last confession I swear: During the last day before winter break in 2019, I arrived at school and noticed that there weren’t many people at school. I didn’t think much of it at first but then a bunch of police showed up. As it turns out a group chat got leaked and a group of students talked about bringing guns to school and having a gang war with another group of students. Thank god this never happened but it was on the news in my state and throughout that day I made mental note of the multiple exits near my classes
The movie that is at the 23 min mark is called Disaster Movie. Its a comedy film that is basically a spoof of all the end of the world movies and full of dumb and pretty crazy jokes. Might be worth a watch with Mykora.

It was all peaceful until one person threw a pineppne at another person below pretty hard. Next monent, there were a bunch of us on the wall fighting the ones on the ground by throwing pinecones to them. It was war.
The whole process was to pick a pinecone, throw it at them, take cover and repeat.
That was the best lunch break i had in forever.
