That’s what made the fox follow it’s a spiritual journey people out here who been on there own looking for a home knows this a powerful message! Empathy hurts. Especially when nobody cares in return. We suffered alone, no one to comfort us. This is our pain and we don't want to share it. That's why we comfort others so the pain we feel stays unique. But, that pain grows the tighter we hold on to it.
Even if it's rhetorical, it's a valid question. I think... people aren't taught how to handle emotions in a healthy way. This is what it looks like when someone actually understands themselves. Pain doesn't have to be bad, so long as it isn't coming unnecessarily. It can help us learn and grow. It's painful, yes, but it's as valid as everything else we expereince. To put it another way, I think people get stuck in one of the stages of grief (or a combination) and sometimes never hit acceptance. Support is something we all need. Support is the difference between someone lost and alone vs found and with those who love them.
