Thank you. I loved watching how you described how you stretch your paper. I have never seen this method demonstrated.. It seems fast and efficient.

I used to use some other type of board instead of gatorboard that I LOVED but can't remember what it's called

What type and weight of watercolor paper do you recommend. What type needs to be stretched? I have different sizes and weights of watercolor paper. Maybe heavier papers do not need stretching?

I usually use 140 lb paper, and it's best if you stretch that. There's also 300 lb paper. That type is very thick and you don't have to stretch it if you would rather not.

Is 300 GSM for watercolor good enough? Do I soak it as show in your video as well? Thank you so much. This is very useful.

I was soaking 300 gsm paper, so you can do it just as I showed in the video. Or even less if you want. Some people don’t stretch 300 paper at all because it’s so heavy that it usually doesn’t wrinkle. So pretty much whatever you do is ok!
