I have put mine to work numerous times cutting down trees in my yard and friends' trees. This pole saw paid for itself 10 times over. It cuts through thick tree branches like butter. Very happy with it for sure.
Agreed, this is one of the best investments I've ever made, just replaced the chain and use mine all the time: ruclips.net/video/bW7z70Jvu1U/видео.html
I love my Kobalt 80-volt - 5ah battery - 10" Bar - 6 ft / 8ft foot Pole Saw. I have been using it for more than 3 years now. It works great on my southeast Louisiana farm clearing property that a hurricane went through and trashed all the trees in the woods of our 20-acre farm. Today I'll be cutting a 6-inch limb off of a tree out front.
Fantastic set of tips! I run this with an 18" bar and chain and have to be extra careful with maintenance. The only thing I wish they changed was sunk the tensioning bolt a bit deeper into the powerhead - it's a bit too tight in there as it is now
QUICK SAFETY NOTE: IF you are older as I am ( 70 ) or one with weaker upper body and you get up on a ladder with it, with it FULLY EXTENDED, the cutter part being ABOVE the limb, BE AWARE when the cutter cuts fully through the limb the WEIGHT of the cutter will FALL QUICKLY, so be prepared to brace yourself for that and or just let the head pivot and fall to where you can maneuver it better, safely before coming down the ladder

2:19 I have NEVER SEEN such about greasing that location OR that type of grease gun, I'll keep that in mind in the future, THANKS for bringing that up
Thanks for sharing, got the tip from one of my subscribers, makes a difference...

Looks like 3 years or more are very reasonable for pole saws...

Great point, agree on the bolt. Thanks for sharing.
Can you give info on what you had for do in order to use the longer bar?
@@colonmills6075 nothing much! Ensured the Oregon bar and chain I was using was compatible and just put the 18" bar on. Works fantastic!
@@subhobroto thanks, I sure like my pole saw..
@@colonmills6075 it's awesome. I found a greenworks on sale for $35. Will test that out and report back how it compares in the next 3 weeks
Thanks for making a follow up video..
You're welcome. Just bought some replacement chains, will be taking this saw back in action soon.
Thanks! Just got one of those mini chainsaws, that way I can cut! Does a good job!
Glad to hear, just make sure to clean your chainsaw out from time to time like shown here.
I brought one and used it so much I think the chain is dull. Do I just replace it?
The chain is easy to replace. I just bought these, you might want to check them out: amzn.to/4aiuDrT

Very good point, thanks for sharing. Be careful out there, safety first always...
My man put on a few pounds like the rest of us.
Hopefully muscle, or too many shirts on that day.
