This channel will be one of the great football hubs on the internet. I'd advise getting a sony A7siii & a couple of panel lights with soft boxes and grids - one 45 degree low lighting your face & one pointing at the other side but up and down at the back of your head. You also should get a rodelink go lav mic which you can plug straight into the cam. Make sure you have a good background with depth and some interesting lighting or a green screen. Will defo boost your viewership!

Kabak, Davies, Doni, Coates, Teixeira, Assaidi, Yesil, Alberto, Aspas, Cissokho, IIori, Stewart, Markovic, Manquillo, Moreno, Balotelli, Bogdan, Benteke, Allan, Grujic, Caulker, Ruch Chorzow, Melo, Ramsey, and several others represent a long list of underwhelming to disappointing players brought in by FSG/Edwards. Now, compare that to genuine Klopp signings such as Alisson and Virgil van Dijk (along with Liverpool Academy product Trent, in my opinion, the only three genuinely world-class players at Liverpool). Even Klopp's 'failures' like Keita and Thiago possess world-class ability, and unproven signings like Nunez genuinely exhibit talent. The point is that people need to stop attributing Liverpool's success to Edwards. He wasn't the driving force behind it. Klopp made the difference. Klopp has demonstrated it once again this year by transforming Liverpool with HIS signing into title contenders when nobody thought it was possible. I firmly believe if Klopp had gotten Caciedo Liverpool would have won the title. He's genuine class regardless of his current form. Under Klopp his true abilities would be demonstrated. Instead of constant penny-pinching and stats-based recruitment, which I believe is somewhat overrated, Liverpool needs genuine proven quality or proven Premier League quality signings, such as Alphonso Davies, Bruno Guimarães, Dani Olmo, Jamal Musiala, Alexander Isak, etc. That's the genuine quality Liverpool requires.

2/3 Lots of things to think about and as you rightly point out Alice, a Big Summer indeed. What will be needed to take shape this summer? I would highlight in being calculated in movements of departures and arrivals for these reasons: 1) Chelsea example 2) Avoiding the prospect of lacking depth. That particular factor though sorted itself by Jurgen installing faith in the kids.

3/3 I don't want players for the sake of players, but players that will give us in particular a different dimension and address our areas of weakness, shortages and predictability. In my view: A Striker A Defensive Midfielder A New Centre Half. That would be a good place to start.

Another great Liverpool video. Keep them coming, Alice. From what I've read, it seems like Willian Pacho, 23 yo Ecuadorian CB playing for Frankfurt is top defensive target this summer. Konates injuries are a worry. Matip leaving. Gomez might push for a move too. Liverpool might have to look at 2 CBs this summer depending on outgoings and how much trust they have in Konate.

1/3 We were in the rebuilding process from last term and I felt the catalyst was the creation and momentum in selling Fabinho and Henderson unexpectedly and getting the money as well as getting them off our wage bill. We knew certain names that summer were on their way, plus special departures in Milner and Firmino as their time reached an end.

He can frame this half of the field to endanger the opponent with balls coming from everywhere from his side, he is a maestro he has demonstrated this in the past. But Liverpool must preserve them

Thanks for the the info. Liverpool have invested next to nothing in defensive minded players in the last 4 years with just Tsimikas, Endo, and Konate coming in. Definitely prioritize that.
Fofana and Wieffer are the obvious DM candidates. Don't rate Ugarte or Koopmeiners.

Just because we should sign a DM specialist does not mean Endo will go. We need two. And while I am still excited about Bajcetic, the lad has not shown the physical staying power (yet) to rate as a reliable choice nor am I certain that CDM is his best position. If Liverpool is going to compete in 4-5 competitions next season, they want the luxury of Macca being the third choice CDM, so that Alexis can be rested.
Robertson + Tsimikas are fine. Not against bringing in a younger talent, but it is business we do not have to do. I am also more than happy to keep Gomez, as he has done alright playing 3-4 different positions. I think some other club will make a good offer for him.

I think Liverpool is likely to get attractive offers for Diaz, as a hardworking player that could slot in well for a number of clubs. I think we should keep him.
I just do not see another club making an attractive offer for Nunez. If Slot says sell, I respect that. But without input from Arne, it is worth giving Nunez another season. Perhaps Darwin disappoints at his price point, but he is no flop; there are a lot of forwards in the PL that produced much much less for comparable money.

Niko Williams would be class for Liverpool
For now , FSG will give 125 million for Slot to spent. Plus selling that could add up to more than 180 million. Those are enough for 4 players to be sign into the club. I would sign Sesko(ST) , Hancko(LB/LCB) , Nico William(W) and Alan Varela(CDM). Average spent of 175million.
One small thing here, I don't think we ever let Isak go this summer - let alone for as little as £80m.

On the back of last night's game from Selhurst Park, what would pertinent to this discussion is buying players already proven in the Prem and one of them being is Michael Olise. He is what we need for goals. The natural obstacle however is the price tag most likely slapped of 60 million (in excess). We being we of FSG have to of course 'sell-to-buy'. We will need to probably make big decisions and sacrifices.

I can see Salah leaving, especially if we are looking for a new attacker. One year left on contract, and likely a good time to start a new book for both parties. Hard to find 6 leaving, but Matip, Thiago, and Tsimikas could be nailed on. Maybe even Carvalho, since I can't see him get much game time with the competition we have.
Robinson has always impressed me whenever I have watched him play. Think pace is of essence in our defensive lines, so I think that will be one of the main priorities along with technique.
IF we can get 100m for Salah, I’d like to see Hincapie (55m), Isak (£80m), Williams (£43m) and Geertruida (£25).
Out would be salah (£100m), Phillips (£5m?), Tsimikas (£20m?) and Carvalho (£15m)
Net spend of £63m which we should easily be able to afford.
