What CPU do you have to get smooth-ish game play in large player skirmishes like this? I got an old i7 8086K and I don't think I'd get 60fps in these fights.

Is it possible for free to play account to be compatitve in wvw against other upgrarded account's specilizations? If yes which best class for free to play. Thanks
It kinda is, but you need to be extremely good in your class, because literally all elite specs outclass the core ones with ease, even tho they can top the same dps most of the time. The thing is that Elite Specs have resources like: Scapade, Survivability, Endurance, Boons and so on that usually are not offered by the core classes.

Imo core thief is great even today, D/P or even P/D are very viable in sPvP and ranked.
Core thief, and Core necro the strongest for sure, but yea having elite specs (expansions) is kinda p2w, especially the end of dragon ones so you gonna have a really hard time against those, still if the player is bad you can outplay
Why warhorn over OH sword? Both weapons have fear and sword deals more damage.
To me, warhorn is super op, the unblockable fear allows you to interrupt many key skills, and it's actually super strong against any kind of guardian, we all know how op willbenders are, the wh5 is also very good to pop before going shroud for some exta lifeforce and lifesteal but more importantly blind removal. Plus without having any boon duration, the swiftness alone from speed of shadows trait isnt enough to keep perma bonus from speed relic, in reaper having speed relic is mandatory imo, otherwise you will be kited and that sucks, I did try Wayfinder relic as well and felt really bad. Plus swiftness as a boon can be stripped so having an extra source is important too.
Sword offhand is very bad in my opinion because the fear ball is a projectile, and not unblockable, it feels extremely bad when you fight guardians or even catalyst, warhorn unblock is super strong for that purpose. The offhand sword 4 is also a bit slow to land unless you are using instant aoe ground target and is not really big damage. I would use sword offhand if they make the skill 5 unblockable for sure.
Theres a reason why using staff with unblockable marks is still superior if you looking for 1v1's, so for roaming, warhorn is the most similar tool you can use.
