I have a friend in North Carolina that buys them at auction. He then load tests them, fixes anything necessary, and resells them. I bought from him. You want his contact?
I got mine right on time for 2k from a a guy who had 2 of them a few years back when everyone started buyig them like hot cakes. What a beast those machines are. I dont recommend doing this but it started my 4 ton AC unit and ran it like a champ. I would not do that regularly I just wanted to see if it can do it and it did. Absolute beast of machines and run smooth and quiet. Can not find any for less rhan 4k now beat up and needing work.
Feb 2021 right as the -20F ambient cold front was coming into Oklahoma we lost power. My 802a ran my house for 10days straight without a hiccup. Had it on standby for 3yrs just waiting for such an event. I exercise it a couple times per year. Great gen sets and I've read people getting 20,000 hours out of the engine.
PS: be sure to keep some sort of weight over the exhaust flapper when she's not in use. The wind likes to blow them open (or off) and let rain in the exhaust.
I'm yet to put mine to the test for an extended period of time. I live in South FL and power here is pretty reliable even with storms. Exercise it once a month and fluid changes once a year. Doesn't skip a beat. Monster Generators and super efficient.
You need to do a video detailing the pros and cons of such a generator.
I used to refurbish military gensets. Mostly air cooled Lister Petter diesels. They are hella reliable and easy to service.
Block the radiator with cardboard intil it finally gets warm.
Been wanting one of these for years!!! Bad Ass!!
I loved using them while I was in. Took a long time to be able to afford one, but still a better deal than buying a new Kubota or something.
@@DavidPozEnergy Where did you end up getting it? Ive looked at the auctions out of Kansas, bid on a few but never won lol

@@DavidPozEnergy Awesome! Yes, yes I would!
Here is his e-mail: mepgenerators@pm.me
Awesome! Love that sound!
Need more videos on this bad boy!
Probably not available for normal purchase and I bet this has way better build quality than many others. A keeper for sure.
They are available. The military has been selling them for almost a decade.
Yes and no

Thank you for sharing. I'm glad to hear it worked so well for you.

You are like me, but way cooler, yet we live so close.
I'm sure this unit is super efficient
They are. Per KW they burn less fuel than a honda eu2200
Yes they are. They can run for 10 hours on 5 gallons at full load. No Hond generator on the planet can do that.
Cold day in the neighborhood.
That's not very tactically quiet.
Does this unit run at 60hz or 400hz?
60 hz.
