It is what it is, but James Bradberry was damn near lights out the entire 2022 season under assistant coach Dennard Wilson. Dennard Wilson had the Raven secondary playing lights out the majority of the season and now Dennard Wilson is the DC of the Titans. Coaching makes a big difference. Neither Mekhi Gardner nor Josh Jobe or Ricks looked good when they got minutes to shine which also speaks to poor but atleast Bradberry was playing at an elite level as a starter at one point. Coaching makes a HUGE difference.

Kansas City still scares me because they basically have a faster tyreke hill in Xavier worthy. Andy Reid knows how to use fast players and he always has been really good at it.
If the secondary improves due to the talent added in the offseason (FA and draft), and the DBs and LBS can cover well enough to prevent a lot of quick throws from the QB, then everyone on the DL should see improved production. Clearly, teams this past season figured out how to attack the Eagles by, for the most part, getting receivers open quickly and negating the pass rush. That we, basically, couldn't cover anyone over the middle, and we played such soft coverage on outside receivers, quick and fairly open throws were available all over the field. The best DLs in the world would have found it difficult to get pressure on the QB. We saw it most of the season, but at the end of the season it became a glaring shortcoming by the Birds. I'm hopeful the talent infusion on both sides of the ball (along with the new DC and OC) will break the Eagles out of their predictability problem, which was on full display all season last season.
Sweat is going to have one of his best seasons ever, I think we ended up with a great TJ Edwards-esque… let’s just say he gonna be fine. LFG.!!!! Nakobe was a bad choice. I have to go negative on that one.
