At this point of the journey the temptation to drop into the flow and be in it is out weighing the structure. Embracing the creamy juices in an improv at the end. There’s too much to say in a lyric. A good improv says it all.
The over all concept behind the song is inspired by the symbol of the guillotine as a public display of punishment. With the price of everything becoming so unaffordable, I notice many people in my position feeling the price of everything looming over our heads. Ideally this song would be about good old fashioned shaming capitalist franchise’s like pharmaceuticals and corruption of political parties.
But after all, “it is my day off, to sit and consider all that we’ve lost.”
