Is there a chance you could do a rundown video of your Sin before the update (or after assuming you're going to try and get everything you need in the first day or two)? Just like what's a healthy amount of crit chance/damage to be at, along with stats in general for the current endgame content. A little insight on the weapon would be good too seeing how I've heard going past True Profane isn't worth it unless you can push to True Siren (despite prices probably going up when everyone rushes to upgrade). Even a general build update if you've changed it at all. Other than that, great gem video. Now I know what I should be aiming for rather than just winging it with what sounds nice.
Great video/guide. Question though- isn't gem crafting a money pit though? It seems like just buying them from the auction ends up being way cheaper. I've kinda been finding that for all crafting in the game so far. The materials and cost it is to make an item > the made item.

8:14 "It really is that simple, there's not much to say appart from you can get it from this" You should mention there's a failure chance when attempting to transmute, in which case you will lose your soulstones/fee, therefore it might not be the best option for everyone/someone starting.

Question: I currently use the moonwater arena soulshield set and was wondering if i should get Poh set first before getting Mushin's set (wich is coming out very soon and is said to be better) if possible, i would rather skip the poh set, since unsealing charms are prety expensive and it takes alot of them to get the perfect set. and is it "possible" to do mushin's tower with just the moonwater set? ps: i'm at true profane stage now and can evolve again soon
I got myself a good On Evasion gem, does this activate when I Strafe behind my target? (Q & E) Or when does this proc.. And can I make it proc on purpose, else I'm switching it out.
So... to clarify, i didn't quite catch it in the video. The life drain, it drains the amount stated on the gem's tooltip right? i.e when I crit, I drain 60 hp OR when I crit, I drain crit dmg + 60 hp?
+Chuec 1 It's basically in terms of critical attacks. AP increases your critical damage, while add dmg gems give normal critical damage with increased bonus damage AFTER your critical is applied. In short, multiplication( critical multiplier AP) is always better than addition(add dmg) unless your add dmg gem gives a very significant dmg boost
2 questions please (glad if anyone with experience from asian server answers): Do you get the 4th slot when converting your lvl 45 weapon to a lvl 50 one? And what is the highest gem tier possible? Sparkling hex? Or is there a higher one?

Btw i am not from Asian server (well did play for a while), just did a lot of research since warlock is coming and i want to be ready for him. Based on what i asked people and saw here bns.inven.co.kr/dataninfo/item/list.php?dataGroup=gem&itemclass3=35 (use google chrome to translate) the more side a gem has the better it is. The tier goes from green to blue to purple (so normal gem to brilliant gems to sparkling). I don't think legendary gems exist usually legendary equip has the orange glow around it or the text is in organ like how the sparkling is purple. And like you said the highest we will have for now is sparkling hexagonal gem like 35 attack power diamond. Sorry my words are every where bad at explaining and btw you can probably find every thing you are looking for on the website. Lastly i was talking someone from china server he mentioned you will most likely get the best gems from events like these prntscr.com/a9m9f5 not sure why the colors are different than regular gems.

The new dungeon / 24man coming out drops a pirate braclet, that is basically the Hm Braclet that can be upgraded forever =)

+Loufas GR You need AP not AD, lets say you do 1000 damage then the 7 AD adds on and makes it 1007. AP (attack power) multiplies and AD (additional damage) adds.
I fundamentally disagree with this guide. 1) The difference between 302 and 295 attackpower is something like 2,3%... At level 15 with ~80 attack power thats still less than 10% damage increase 2) Theres currently no use to have max dps, as the enrage timers are low / bosses are too easy and you dont need to dps a boss down fast or else you fail! Later this will change though, but thats content probably only 20% will do on a regular basis then... 3) Having your main defense stat up to something like 60% evade/block on the other hand will insanly boost your early game!! And since most of us dont know the bosses 24/7 yet, having better survival is better than having 4% more damage that you cannot use cause you are dead.... tldr; if you are a new player, ignore this guide! If you get too much damage and struggle with content, get your hands on the sparkling diamonds with 400 eva/def/block (they literarly double your defense stat ffs) and a corresponding gem which heals xxx hp when evaded/blocked (like a hexagonal peridot), those are AMAZING and proc way more often than the crit-hp ones. Once you get higher, skip those 7attackpower ones and get the real ones. Atm Id even sell them to make quick cash...
+The Schiffer fair comment I agree completely but once the enrage timers come over closer to making a difference these will be important. I agree with using the evasion / block gems for lower levels but ultimately end game you want to use these GEMS.. That's what I'm getting at.You say that the evade / block gems proc more but the life drain hits every time you crit therefore proccing constantly. Cause they tick 4 seconds, but the first life gain is instant, and this first life gain is multiplied in mob groups. 100ish life regen against bosses like poh are rather... meh... one mistake with her fire phase is 12k damage on 6man. Dodging/evading it can save more. (The roll of that one emerald boss hurts a lot as well) I find it rather disturbing that many guides just state "here, use this, they are teh best!!!!!!!!!111111111" without even explaining why the thousand other gems in this game are not useful, or dont work, or why they (should) trigger less... I couldnt find a website yet where you could look up the duration/cooldowns on those triggers and some translations are outright BAD. Oh talking about bad... YOU FORGOT ONE OF THE ---MOST--- USEFUL GEMS! A Ruby with 1 Critical Hit. (= a chance to gain 100% critrate for 3 seconds that will expire with the next attack) This gem is vastly superior to xxx additional damage trigger ruby. So again this guide is not for lowend is not even for highend (no 100% crit chance buff) its just for midtier...

I messed up my soul shield and didnt feel like grinding for the weapon upgrade beyond True Profane; I believe it is (too many rare resources imo) But yes, for a time it was worth it. Later on in the Silverfrost Mtn's, some of the enemies were annoying with their stun procs as I solowed. Also I had an issue where button clicks weren't registering in time, it seemed to get considerably worse in Silverfrost mtns. May have been my DSL as Verizon sold me to a new company thats having major issues

I see a lot of people going with Soul Wardens-Merry Potters-Tree Fellers-Trappers/Green Thumbs because you can earn a lot of gold on transformation stones and materials from Merry Potters are required by all other professions. However, once you reach the Moonwater Plains, you will need to get Secret Techniques for Merry Potters to unlock crafting materials for transformation stones, offered by Soul Wardens (and those techniques are quite rare/expensive). So basically it all comes down to your preference. With this combo, you can net quite a bit of gold but you will first have to spend a decent amount for that (plus the waiting time for all of it). You can always go with Earthseers-Merry Potters/Silver Cauldron-Green Thumbs/Fishing Network-Herbside Service because I don't see a lot of Unsealing Charms drop from quests and dungeons. But, as I've said, personal preference.
+TsumiyaTime its just for the looks, hit box doesnt matter, the bigger the hand the bigger the weapon skin, it doesnt affect hitbox but it sure looks cool while you do it

+Jake dg No that was the last stage in beta, True Siren is currently the last stage. When we get BSH (Bloodshade Harbour) we'll then have a further two stages True Siren>Awakened Pirate>True Pirate it's gonna take a lot of farming though.
yep, I did. I didn't notice it after I watch this vid I bought the additional damage gem then I watch this vid again and notice the different. I wasted 25 very hard earn silver. I'm still low level so money is so hard to come by.
The guide is actually pretty poor when you look deeper into it. telling people damage reds, drain violets and atk whites no matter what is flat out stupid.

No. you loose your lvl the only thing you keep is the materials you have found

yo all classes get same gems? I got force master 45 2 days before 4 slots which gems should i put him? ty :)
if you unlock early the 4th slot of gem in your weapon does it carry thru during evolving your weapon..?
+Clyne Jenn I believe when your 3rd slot unlocks by it self at certain lvl i forgot it cost only 1 gem hammer to unlock the 4th one later it cost 4.

You can always go with Earthseers-Merry Potters/Silver Cauldron-Green Thumbs/Fishing Network-Herbside Service because I don't see a lot of Unsealing Charms drop from quests and dungeons. +TsumiyaTime its just for the looks, hit box doesnt matter, the bigger the hand the bigger the weapon skin, it doesnt affect hitbox but it sure looks cool while you do it

+Jake dg No that was the last stage in beta, True Siren is currently the last stage. When we get BSH (Bloodshade Harbour) we'll then have a further two stages True Siren>Awakened Pirate>True Pirate it's gonna take a lot of farming though.

yep, I did. I didn't notice it after I watch this vid I bought the additional damage gem then I watch this vid again and notice the different. I wasted 25 very hard earn silver. I'm still low level so money is so hard to come by.
