When she said I imagined the spirit of Jack cackling as he grabbed Renard’s soul as he’s brought back to the afterlife. I like to think he said “Watch out ladies, Jack is coming home” or “thanks for the ride Sonny”
Him finding his mother's head was the saddest scene I've ever watched on TV. He was never so emotional in the show as then. Props to David Giuntoli for conveying it so heart wrenchingly.
I loved the director's decision to make all sound just stop in that moment. Kind of mimicking the deafness you feel to the world when faced with something horrifically devastating.
Adalind knew when she came to Nick she was potentially trading one executioner for another. He does have reason to hate her and she was afraid he would kill her when she was no longer useful, like her mother and Sean discarded her when she wasn't useful. Juliette would definitely kill her, and her only hope was that Nick wouldn't kill his own child. Adalind has been very unlikable before, but she has also been very fearful most of the time. And from this point on she's desperately clinging to a piece of shelter and safety just hoping that Nick doesn't throw her away. I wrote some of this from Adalind's perspective: m.fanfiction.net/s/13060956/1/A-Matter-Of-Perspectives
@@breezy3392 I do not think she was "very unlikeable", more she was present in an unpleasant way without explaining that she is trying to survive and was always given tasks to complete for her survival and so she complied completely.
@@Pyrochik2 Poisoning Juliette wasn't for survival. That was hurting someone innocent for vindictive revenge. She conceived a child (Diana) with the intention of selling it to get what she wanted. And I for one can't un-remember how she got her second child
@@breezy3392 Great job on the fanfic, I LOVE the idea and hope you're doing well and will continue it soon. I'd love to read the perspectives of Nick and Sean during that time.
He should've hunted her long before that, like after she burned the trailer. Actually he should've taken the precaution of moving the trailer as soon as Juliette turned, and warned Kelly
@@asiyah7714 Even if he didn't think so, a "just in case" might have been called for. She did almost kill Monroe here. Nick could have sent a quick email to update Kelly or put surveillance in the house, anything. It's just really annoying when characters who should know better just...do nothing. Why can't the protagonist ever be proactive? Everything has to blow up before they do something
I love how full of knowledge Adalind is while saying all that

Why is no one talking about how surprised Adalind was when Nick said he wasn't going to hurt her
She even asked,"well why not?" Ha she was extremely shocked

@@breezy3392 True, but unfortunately for him, he didn't think she would be so cruel and go that far

First time Nick was soft with adalind
He probably had a new appreciation for Adalind's self control after seeing how much being a Hexenbiest changed Juliette.
Poor Nick
