    Ufff! really enjoyed this video with you narrating every trick you were doing. Super helpful so I can list them all and find references to learn them :D Thank you!

      Glad it was helpful! I've just got myself an Insta360 camera so I might be doing more of these narration videos coming up. But it's not easy and takes me far too long.... Like everything, I need to practice.

    I’ve been following both of you for more than 11 years and I’ll never get tired of watching your content. You’re IMO, the two most inspiring skating educators and content creators on YT.
    Such a pleasure seeing you skating together!

      Thanks, we did have a fun skate together. Both of us were also skating group skates, doing lessons and zipping around town with long days on skates. This day was a whopper and I'd already been on skates for about 7 hours when we started this skate! Mild continuous adrenalin plays an important role in me staying upright! And sticking to what I know...

    0:08 didn't do the "stay low" though 😭 (so I just did that imitation myself, as I usually do when watching his videos as well anyway 🤣)

    Loved it is the correct answer. Never get enough of this combo of skate + commentary. Something Bill does so well. ❤🇬🇧

    Nice video regardless of my crankiness.

      Bless you that's very kind. We can all tap into our inner skater just by gliding on skates.

      I think so yes. Coincidence as I'm often also on the @NNskates frame

    Love it! Got to watch it twice tho, since I missed all the wonderful sights on the first go because I was so preoccupied watching your footwork and body positions lol.

      The funniest bit is me trying to get in all the moves in a flow combination (Starts with "backward inverted mohawk..."
      I could barely get the names out of the moves as they happened so fast. Let's say I had to record that about 9 times to get it in.
      Makes me want to do some videos breaking down some flows into their moves....

    I think this works well. I came to one of your Easter sessions some years ago, I can’t skate now .Watching this standing on a busy platform with a delayed train was very enjoyable. Haven’t check in for a while and I’m loving your wizard style on the street🤗

      Gracias. Soy de los patines tradicionales y mi entrenamiento era artístico, entonces transiciones son la base! Los hago a décadas, por eso se salen natural. Gracias xx

    You explained in passing why inline skating isn’t more popular here in the UK. Our surfaces are so poor. My local roads are unskateable, pavements are rough, narrow and too busy. It’s only seaside places like Southsea, or parks where one can skate.

    • @SkatefreshVideos
      @SkatefreshVideos  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes that's a big part of it and our weather sucks! Almost anywhere else is better. But we also have so few rinks and facilities compared to other countries. Our sports provision is abysmal. Agreed.

    • @StillAliveAndKicking_
      @StillAliveAndKicking_ 6 месяцев назад

      @@SkatefreshVideos Good points. Our local ice rink may well close for good, Bracknell and the Isle of Wight ice rinks closed a few years back. Only one roller hockey rink nearby.

      Next time I can be there, but right now I'm focussing on Spring/Summer in UK and EU and see how next winter pans out. It's a great event SkaterMigration, well worth it. Great routes, good organisation, fun vibe. You'll love it.

      Bles you, thanks. I just LOVED those smooooooth surfaces. That doesn't even exist in the UK outdoors (except on the ramps in skate parks which have that exact same polished concrete surface). And the slight downhill meant it was even easier than it could have been. Heaven basically. I'd been on skates that day for about 7 hours already (20 mile street skate and lessons). I really enjoyed it.

    stoppard is a weird guy. He claimed to have created his own type of skating and proposed loads of bizarre...rules, that qualifies it as its own thing when it wasn't
