I would love to know more about your pasteurization furnace. That thing is awesome! Do you just put a log down the center like? How many opening are around it, how wide are they? Do you worry about burning out the bottom of the barrel? How long will a barrel last before it gets a hole in the bottom?

You can then bury the logs along side fresh white oak, or hardwood wood chips; cover and wait...
