Hi Taco! Wow that was a huge flea market! I loved the bottles you found too. Never heard of a milk bottle from New York but back in the day, the milkman would bring it to your porch and pick up the empties! I sure hope the 18 carat ring is the real thing. All of the old tractors made me think of my Dad. I was raised on a farm & I always remember him in his tractor. I lost him when I was only 15 years old. Blessings to you and Salsa! ❤️✝️

Had an old guy double parked the other day in the supermarket parking lot. I was parking for grocery delivery and wanted shade, & just asked him, Sir, could you straighten your car so I can park there? After couple exchanges, he tells me kuss my @$$...before I even thought, I replied, 'my lips aren't big enough!' 🤣😂😜

Love, love, love the vintage machinery. Absolutely love "Mack" and the mini Willies. So cool. Those tin types were really nice. Huge market, great day. We have a tiny church sale over at Jervois on Sunday, hopefully the weather will be nice.

18kt gold is 75% gold. It's pretty easy to get scratched and misshapen. For that reason alone, I don't see too many rings above 14kt. I'd love to find a stack of license plates for a dollar! I liked most all the things you got. Good meet! Going to buy another storage unit soon?

On Jan 11th 1878 Milk was delivered in glass bottles for the very first time. The delivery happened in New York.

A friend of mine has a steam tractor like the one in the video, not sure if it was a Case or Holt but he used to give rides at the tractor shows, a friend of my mother had one of the largest tractor collections in the world in Woodland, California.
It took me a whole day to just walk through the collection, I plan on going back and taking pictures.
The old Hit and Miss engines that you showed walking in, are pretty popular around here and at the Nevada County fairgrounds they have several on display running all kinds of farm equipment.
I would love going to that flea market just to admire the old machinery.
Oh yeah, I definitely recommend taking that gold ring to a jeweler for assessment. They can tell you its value.

I enjoyed this so much! That flea market has always lots of interesting stuff! I'd have baught so many things! And so many dogs around too! Now, I know Salsa gets car sick, but I bet she'd have loved it there. Have you ever asked if there's something you can give her to endure the trip better?
man some good stuff there I will likely blow my entire pay check there nice finds man sure loved them old bottles I also saw old toys and model train stuff love displaying those kind of things

I'd have to go there w/a lot of money.....toooooo many cool things....Than I would need a realtor for a bigger house!.....Always liked looking at this flea when you go.....18k could be plated 18k.....But one can hope.....You got some cool things......Cleaning the disks might help resale value......

Hey Taco. watching this video, I noticed a Panasonic box passing by is a split second. So I went back and noted the time stamp: at 3:25. These old style ghetto blasters (if that IS what's in the box) can fetch a lot of money, even more WITH the box (as I'm sure you know). I would have jumped on this! For next time I guess.....

Funny we just attended our steam up tractor show here in oregon too. Basically the same deal. The oliver tractors were one of my favorite too.

We had lone like this on the WC with tractors etc. Gone are the days of cool tractor, auto parts for $1-5. Tons of DVD, Vinyl records and a $400 Sax! Common unlabelled bottles for $5 and license plates starting at $5 each. In rust we trust.

Wow - great video, Taco! That place had a lot of cool things to search through. The bottles are always great to see. We had glass milk bottles here in the City until about the mid 1970s. Some of the milk you could buy even had the top part as cream. They were sold in a general dairy store, called the "Milk Farm" ... located directly underneath the El (elevated subway tracks) for the "A" train. The business is still there, just not the milk in glass bottles. And, believe it or not, there was also a diary farm, stocked with cows, in this part of Queens. I believe it closed up before my time, by 1970 ... called Balsam Farms (the owner was related to the actor from "Psycho", Martin Balsam). The area is now all homes. My Dad said that on a Summer's day, if the wind blew just the right way, you would know that you were near cows! The 18k ring sure looks to be the real deal. That would be a treat if it turned out to be the authentic. Yikes - It'd be a bonanza actually - fingers crossed! Thanks again for the trip to Jacktown!
We had milk and bread delivered back in the sixties.
@@johnpayment2988 Yes, we didn't get 'em delivered, but one guy on the block worked for Dugan Bread. Made a good enough living driving around in his small, but very tall, truck delivering milk, bread and all of the other things!
11:08 The ebony jewelry box was beautiful! They have a good resale market here (Kentucky) and on EBay, not sure how the value is there.

Playstation 1 games generally have a black or some color underside, if it was a bootleg most likely it would just be a regular silver cd color, it's just how they were manufactured at the time.

The 18k may be electroplated and should be marked to indicate such.

There should be something after the 18K mark that designates it as electroplate such as GE, GE or HGE. If the jewelry piece is very old, it will be real 18K but rare as heck otherwise and would be a artisan piece. That ring looks too bright for real 18K.
