  • The Wireless XM1 is finally here in the form of Endgame Gear XM2we, with it's price it's basically stomps on most gaming mice in the 60-120 dollar bracket. Here is my review on it.
    NOTE: Math issue at the optical vs mech switch part with 6ms debounce. With mechanicals the latency would be 9ms, NOT 10ms!

    In the US you can actually now get the Lamzu for $90 from Addice and Amazon (might even be free shipping with Prime). So the price difference isn't as harsh in US. Get whatever is cheaper. If the price is equal for both, I'd still recommend the XM2we, but not as heavily.

    I'm enjoying the content as of late being more detail oriented. Things like DPI deviation personally isn't news to me, but what is really interesting is how DPI deviation is effected by certain mouse pads. I'd like to believe that companies such as Zowie have been using the same sensor, even in their new wireless mice, possibly due to the sensor's consistency in DPI deviation. Or the more obvious reason being cost, however, I feel like a lot of us who watch your content would be really interested in seeing DPI values of classic mouse/mousepad combos in e sports like the ec2a on a QcK+, GSR, GPX on a g640, DAV3 on a Gigantus V2 etc

I don't like the feel of clicks on m42 for onetaps. I have very good precision with it but if I miss first 3 one taps I loose the only tap rhythm of the taps. Unfortunately for almost every mouse I've tried recently, they all don't quite measure up to Vaxee XE's clicks which are absurdly light. But I've also heard complaints about them being too light for some. Very curious to see what the "flagship" will be like regardless. Happy to see EGG put out some cool stuff after waiting so long.

I'm genuinely shocked at how much nicer this feels compared to my GPX. It's really a fantastic mouse, I do wish I had 2k or 4k polling and the clicks are a bit stiffer than what I'm used to (despite enjoying stiffer clicks and modding all my mice to have 8.0s) but I don't think these are really even drawbacks. Solid work as always, but I disagree with the overall takeaway that Lamzu is not as strong an option now that XM2we is out.
    The XM1r has always been one of my fav shapes, and despite mainly using wireless mice I have kept an XM1r as backup. Now having said that, the Lamzu Atlantis is not just a 1:1 clone of XM1r shape, esp when it comes to gripping the sides. I never thought I would say this but I actually think the Lamzu Shape has, imho, improved on the XM1r shape. I didnt like the Atlantis right away, but I can saw that after about a month and a half of using it in my daily rotation of GPX, G303 and MZ1 wireless, it is 2nd only to my GPX.
    So its not a matter of Atlantis having served as a copium mouse until Xm1 wireless models hit the markt; Atlantis is a fantastic mouse in its own right (and it is only their first release too!) Esp for claw grippers.
    Regardless, I will be picking up the XM2we anyway because I have a crack err I mean mouse addiction (srsly please send help!) but I gotta say that Lamzu has made a mouse that can stand on its own. Again been following ur channel since near the beginning and loving all your content, keep up the immense work!

      A bit off topic, but I would like to ask about MZ1 Wireless. Have you noticed that the scroll is slightly crooked? I ordered a couple of copies but each had the same defect. The shape is divine for me, but this scroll turned me off a bit.

    • @Shah456ful
      @Shah456ful Год назад +1

      @@Netherlag1 The way the sides transition to the rear hump is quite a bit different. It results in me placing my fingers differently along the right side of the atlantis. This is the main difference, because how I place fingers on the right side of the Atlantis (near front of mouse) i helps me stabilize my shots. I dont know about the measurements but the Atlantis feels narrower at the point where I grip it. YMMV of course. The coating is better on Xm1r but I find the grippy texture on the atlantis to work well with my sweaty hands.
      Edit: The back hump, esp how the top slopes towards the back, feels narrower near the base with the atlantis. Xm1r has a bigger and rounder contact with palm. I have 17.5 x 10 hands

    • @Shah456ful
      @Shah456ful Год назад +1

      @@savage3921 I owned the wired MZ1 for quite some time before going the wireless. The scrollwheel on my copy of MZ1 wireless is also not centred and it is stiff to both, actuate and well, scroll lol. By far the worst scrollwheel among my daily drivers but that shape with the new back shell is just divine. I recently got their grip tape and it has further improved the mouse for me.
      I hope they release a "pro" version with fix shell, no weight balancing gimmick and especially no RGB or shell holes. Its a banger of a mouse but so much room for improvement. Also want the skates to be larger since it will compensate for how small the mouse is, with the slower glide.

      I value surcafe feel on the mouse quite a lot, especially on products that I use long term. M8 has quite a slippery/cheapish feeling surface feel compared to the XM2we. It's a hard question because I prefer most things on the M8 (especially the shape) over the XM2we, but grippy & premium feeling coating might actually move me toward the XM2we, believe it or not.
