Thank you, Miss Kersey, for posting this short tidbit from that never to be forgotten DS Fest! I was there too. Great to hear Charles Ellis's voice again. Miss Bennett was the epitome of class and I think she was genuinely touched and moved by the tremendous love and respect her fans displayed. That was a FEST for the ages! What a pity many of today's "stars" lack even a scintilla of Miss Bennett's charm and grace!
In defense of Joan's not having a reaction to how she felt, William Shatner commented he was amazed with how much so many people know about each and every aspect of Star Trek. He often gets questions about plotlines and co-stars he said he hadn't remembered in years. The best one was when a question began, "In episode six,,,,,"
Just discovered this gem. Hurried home from school to watch original DARK SHADOWS 🏰 . And Joan Bennett as ELIZABETH COLLINS STODDARD! 👸. Mistress of COLLINWOOD . Great career in films ,including ELIZABETH TAYLOR'S mother in original Father of the Bride 👰♀. RIP. 🕊 🕊
A classy lady! You must remember that she and Grayson Hall (Oscar nominated) had mostly been movie actresses, and were accustomed to retake after retake as opposed to live scenes. Nevertheless, I loved them both, and great actresses both were! RIP!
something to the effect of 'i don't know the answer'. i think she may have been talking about them asking a question she knew she wouldn't be able to answer.

One of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood.
she wasn't beautiful. She was only beautiful when she was born to the late 1930s until she dyed her hair black
@Jason Wu I liked her better when she was a brunette. And she became more popular after she became a brunette.
@@marcchevalier3750 Obviously dying your hair doesn't change your facial features she was gorgeous.
Thank you for your channel! And yes, Bennett was a class act from A to Z.
I thought JB was such a cute little old lady on Dark Shadows. I loved her wardrobe, her grace, the way she spoke; everything about her.
she was always dressed with such finesse
She was in her mid 50's hardly a little old lady.
Pure class. Thank you for posting this delightful video clip.

Anyone who likes Joan Bennett should see a great old film noir classic, "Woman In The Window". Very enjoyable. She is gorgeous in it.
This clip was videotaped in 1985 in New Jersey.

J.B. was always very glamorous and very beautiful in her earlier career. Aside from Night of the Iguana; I never knew G.H. had a movie career.
i wish i could go to a festival too.
She was awesome in "Scarlet Street" with Edward G. Robinson! Fabulous Actor!
