i think kelly probably as a kid found out he could do this trick with his voice and sing super raspy all the time and just couldn;t sop doing it . if you listen to the actual record of this . he;s doing it all the time , and it gets wearing after a while , however on this acoustic version and recently in general . he sings more clean and pure , i think he;s found he has a great voice clean or raspy and mixes it up now . talanted bastard !

He's got better at singing "Clean". Your voice is an instrument the more you use it the better it get's.
