The bell at 6:04 needs some TLC, which is why it sounds like that. The lights at 7:04 do work, but they're just hard to see. 17:02 is just a really old crossing. No idea why it's set-up like that, but it just is. The flasher relay in the relay case is rather loud too.
Jamie Derek Gibson If you're talking about the flickering, that's the LEDs messing with my camera's frame rate. In real life, they flash like any other crossing signal.
Do these trains run at different times each Season? Like at 5am in winter and 9am during summer. I know that trains, When blowing their Horns, release weather altering chemicals which in conjunction with jets spraying our skies bring on Floods, Hail etc.
2:13 Old 8" lights with a small triangle cantilever, 9:03 Market Street's 4th Upgrade, 9:54 Safetran Type III mixed with WCH Bell, and 13:37 GS Type III E-Bell (New), but why was Monroe St closed at 14:09?
The old US&S cantilever at 2:13 is one of my favorite railroad crossings to record. Monroe Street was closed as the town didn't feel the need for it to remain open, along with two of the crossbuck crossings there (College Street and Water Street). The GS Type III at 13:37 has been there since early October at the very least. www.rxrsignals.com/Alabama/Courtland/Jefferson/
EvilSlenderman 10 It probably was. No way I can get a video of it at night, as the HMCR only runs twice a day and during the middle of the day as well. Maybe I could catch them late enough in the winter that'd be rather dark there, but other than that, not really any way to catch them operating there in the dark.
I'm getting older. I remember when almost every crossing didn't have gates or bells
At 6:04 You Can Here The Old Railroad Crossing Bell Starting Up!
And At 7:04 Railroad Crossing Lights Don't Show Up Only Bell Rings?
And At 17:02 Bell Rings Then Lights Show Up?
The bell at 6:04 needs some TLC, which is why it sounds like that. The lights at 7:04 do work, but they're just hard to see. 17:02 is just a really old crossing. No idea why it's set-up like that, but it just is. The flasher relay in the relay case is rather loud too.
And At 18:00 Two Lights Facing Same Way?
The bottom pair are supposed to be side lights, but probably got re-aimed when the intersection behind me got redone.
10:00 Woah, dude!
I like the video editing. It almost looks as though runners disappear (2:00) or vehicles appear out of thin air (6:35).
The first crossing there is something you should know Something disappeared that day and at that time...
A SEAgull
Awesome crossing at Harris Station Road at Tanner too!
Newer signals there from sometime around 2010, though CSX replace the original bells with NEG ones.
freebrick i like you are videos
Main street in Ohatchee has old crossings but a new GS type bell.

That's Lily Flagg Road and it's mounted on the relay case. Thanks!
ah ok
Awesome lights at the Market Street Crossing at Athens, AL!
How so?
We don't have any crossing in Arkansas with lights with those flash patterns, that's why! :)
Jamie Derek Gibson If you're talking about the flickering, that's the LEDs messing with my camera's frame rate. In real life, they flash like any other crossing signal.
yes, the flashing!
Jamie Derek Gibson Yea, that's just my camera, not the signals.
4:06 those lights need to be brighter
They were hard to see
Also, another overhead visor broke off (it was the same pair)
14:06 a very safe grade crossing.
Drake Avenue Had Traffic Lights!
*Has
Looks like Market St has been redone. Nice footage!
