I relate with the feeling of sadness. I have my group of friends I grew up with that I haven’t seen in years (I’m talking 10 + years), we’re all around the world, just in difficult situations to travel, but we still talk and share virtually to this day. And then I have my friends from college, that I see but not that often and I do not have friends where I live. And it’s such a weird feeling of being grateful for the friendships I’ve built since I moved to the U.S, but also feeling sad about missing my old friends and not having friends nearby, someone who I can go get coffee with or go for a run :( 💖

I have no female friends at age almost 31 with 3 kids. It's really, really hard. I used to have one best friend, but sadly, she wasn't a dependable person.
Same! I just started a doctorate program this year though and my cohort is very small so I'm hoping to make some close friends and future colleagues. It's hard. My sister is my best friend and outside of her and my husband, I don't really have close connections
I have no "real" friends outside of my work colleagues, my sister and a few people I stay connected via social media. I'm married and spend all my off-work time with my husband and family. I have been hurt by so many girls/women in the past that I am now very content with not having any in my life. Will that change? Who knows.

I'm 33 - 1 kid, and no longer speak to my longest "best friend". Quite sad. But I've really tried to make friends with other moms. It's been a lot of work but I think I've found my new "crew". Never thought life would happen the way it did. I've also made a new best friend from a previous job.

What a MAGICAL vlog. I’ve been wanting to go to Montana for years (I live in Washington DC) and this video just made me determined to get there.
I think a lot about adult friendships, especially because I’ll be turning 30 in a few months and I’m still single. So much of my development as a person has come through my friendships, especially female. I have a best friend from middle school who is still my soulmate but the friendships I’ve made as an adult fill up my cup in ways I’m so grateful for, and have helped me grow and develop in amazing ways. The best time of my life will always be living in DC with my best friends right out of college and I’m incredibly grateful that I got to have that. Even though I may not have a partner yet, my life is full of love and joy because of my friendships and I think they’re a really undervalued aspect of being an adult.
One of the biggest things I tell people who struggle with friendships is to put in effort but also to allow those relationships to change. It feels like you’ve been able to do that, Allana, which really shows in the joy you bring to your friends!
Forever grateful for the friendships I have now. Some from school, some people I knew back then and became bigger part of my life and the new people I’ve added along the way.
It’s never too late to find your people ❤❤ 😊

You’re not alone we were really in good shape until a few years ago and now things are hard if we have some sudden issue like something breaks, it used to be no big deal so we are being hit/I just wanted you to know that trust me people are struggling.. even if you’ve done it right your whole life and were cruising along(that’s where we were) Met my best friend when I was 42.❤ Hold on focus on what’s really important. And the little things .Everything will feel better.

Friendships like any relationship take work to develop and grow. Unfortunately some people become lazy and don’t water friendships so they can blossom and become a lifelong attachment. Having that connection at an older age becomes even more important. It’s actually good for your health and wellbeing to feel that in your heart you have people you care about and that they care about you. ❤ nurture your friendships sweet Allana as you age. You’ve cultivated a beautiful tribe of women to surround yourself with.

Such a cute fun trip! Friendship’s definitely get harder with age and especially once people start having families. I feel like that’s when you really discover who your people are. I’ve been incredibly lucky to have some amazing people at all stages of my life.

What a fun and special weekend you had! I have different group of friends from different phases of life. For most, it's a bit difficult to get together because of distance and responsibilities but we all try to stay in touch. The friendships are always cherished. Love this beautiful vlog ♡
you can turn the meaning of 'quality over quantity' into 'quality of time spent together over quantity'. As an adult, I feel like I can skip to meaningful friendships faster than when I was younger because we get to the heart of things without the awkwardness of immense amounts of shared time.

I moved every year as a kid, then after 24 years in Canada I moved back to Spain. Then moved to 3 different regions in Spain! Holding on to your long distance friends can be a lot of effort but so worth it. The people who come into our lives as we grow and change can be so important, even if you haven't known them all your life. Treasure your friends, they are the family you choose 💖

How endearing ❤. I've never been to Montana, but I have always wanted to travel there. The glorious cabins, mountains, cute shops & barbecues. My husband and I have talked about going on a weekend getaway to Old Forge or something along those lines to have that zen like cabin experience. I did in my early twenties, and ugh, it was so amazing & peaceful. I'm craving a trip like that. This time I'd bring my 2 young daughters and just know they'd love it as well. The campfires and cozy cabins 😊. I enjoyed this vlog so much, thank you so much for sharing this with us. What an amazing group of friends you have & it sure looked like a blast!! I saw snippets of the trip on Instagram first. I live near Bozeman, know all the spots you went to and a long time ago my husband was the executive chef at the place you stayed in Big Sky. I was texting my sister like “OMG, Allana’s here in my town!!” Haha. Love it ❤

We just got back from Montana! My husband and I have been there twice and wanted to take the kids. We visited Bozeman, Missoula, Livingston(Paradise Valley) and Butte. Love the shops… jewelry, fly fishing, food and drinks. We’ve been looking at property out there! We love it so much and now we have the kids approval. Hah! TY for the

I love the Bozeman area! There is so much to do! I also did a girls trip there and posted on my IG about all the food places we stopped at! Storm Castle is definitely a favorite! Having friends all over the world is hard at times but it'd also such a beautiful thing! Thank you for sharing your trip!

That property is gorgeous!! I went on my first ever Hot Air Balloon last year in Colorado. I was terrified of the take-off and it was incredibly smooth!!! The landing can be a bit rough. BEST experience!!! You girls look like you had a fun-filled weekend 😊

I’m so lucky to have found good friends throughout my life! My best friend growing up I still talk to, I meet her when we were 7 years old ( 42 years ago )! In two weeks I’m going out for dinner with my high school friend group and we meet 33 years ago. I have some friends that I have meet through work and I treasure them all ♥️.

Although you might have felt you missed out on friendships when you were younger I think in some ways the moving round has been a benefit to you now; I get really shy and awkward in new social situations but you seem great at getting to know people and making new friends wherever you end up 🥰
Such a beautiful place. So much fun. I grew up like you. Wanting to stay in one place and have friends. 13 different schools…3 in grade 5. Divorced parents etc. I’ve have great friends now and for a long time. It’s awesome. All I’ve ever wanted is a group of girls, even just a couple, and it’s never happened for me. It makes me really sad to think about when I get married that I might not have anyone to ask to be in my bridal party… I had one best friend for 10 years and after one disagreement, she completely abandoned me. It truly is a blessing to have even one best friend in this life.

Whoa, I watch a horsey channel out of Montana (The Clever Cowgirl) and feel like my RUclips worlds just collided! She used to work at fancy dude ranches and now rehabs at-risk horses. Hot air balloons were floating past her pastures in a recent video! That looked like quite the memorable trip :).

I live in the city where the international hot air balloon fiesta is and it is VERY normal to have a hot air balloon come down on the highway or some other random place. one was landing LITERALLY over my house a while back 😂
