Have recently managed to get an Heirloom Thinline in Horween leather at a great discount (almost 50%). It quickly became my everyday Bible. Absolutely love it! Thanks for the comparisons.

I picked up an ESV Alpha in Wellington leather 👌 about 6mo ago and love it! The size really feels like it’s compact and meant for easy carry. The Wellington leather is very understated which is something I was looking for. There’s allot of beautiful bibles out there that are a bit too blingey for me.

Is there any ESV Heirloom Text Edition. A text that is not updating every 5 or 9 years? 😅 Kidding aside, I love the Thinline. Though it's not a line match but it doesn't bother me because of its paper. For me, Thinline is the best overall. 🎉

I've got an heirloom edition from 2003, which I think is soon after the ESV began. It is 2 column with references in between the columns of Bible text. It is my favorite; I need the 2 col. version.

I wouldn't want to forgo the reference block and would be happy to add a little heft for the sake of a larger font (tired old eyes...) and complete references and notes. I'm considering the forest green goatskin Omega from Evangelical Bible. Thanks for the review.

Just want to start off saying I love your videos! Was just wondering what you recommend on an everyday carry/reader the thinline or the alpha, struggling to decide which one I should get😅 thank you for your videos and God bless!

Alpha is absolutely the best. 😊

The alpha puts the thinline in an awkward place, especially since it is line-matched and in the same font as the thinline (you said 7, but I think you know it is 8 and just made a mistake). The leading in the thinline is a little better and can have slightly more characters per line. A part of me thinks that may make it compete with the Alpha...its just hard to think of why you would go thinline over alpha.
