Hallel - Full : הלל שלם | Saeed Jalali
The full Hallel is sung in the synagogue on major festivals and on Hannukah.
Some communities apply beautiful tunes to different sections, but in the Baghdadi Sephardic custom it is meant to be responsive: the Hazzan sings the first part of a sentence and the congregants finish the last past of the sentence with the Hazzan.
The Hallel is composed of different chapters from the Book of Psalms of King David.
