Lovely! Jobim was one of a kind. He wrote beautiful songs that withstand the test of time. Bossa Nova only lasted a couple of years in the United States and to this day I wonder why it died out so quickly. However, with great covers like the one here, Bossa Nova lives on. Great job Sangah!

This song reminds me my student years in Amsterdam , when I used to listen a lot to Brazilian music , at that time I liked Astrud Gilberto a lot , because she had something pure in her songs . That wants to say , that she didn't have the greatest voice of-course , and in Brazil other singers sometimes made fun of her . Anyway she had something charming for me at that time . Also it reminds me a girlfriend who studied piano at the Amsterdam Sweelinck Conservatorium , her name was Carla , and we moved in to a penthouse not far from the Amsterdam Concert Building . There was a local piano dealer I helped once out with some tax problems , and when he heard I moved in with Carla , he offered me a very good deal on a Steinway Grand Piano , and also arranged a crane to get it in our little penthouse . To tell you the truth , the living room was gone , but for a few years we had a great time . Everyone came out their porches to see how such a big piano would land finally in our living room ; it was breathtaking m.m.- work , but the Goldschmeding company measured the situation in advance . We broke up after some happy student years , but she still has the Steinway & Sons wing piano , and gives piano lessons on it . . . . It was my best investment ever made . Tnx for your beautiful music , especially your Beatles project awakens a lot of memories . Take care & stay save !
