Was a dozer operator of 815th Engineer Battalion at Engineer Hill from Dec 67 to Dec 68. Went to various places kon tum, ankhe.
Looking at some of the pics made me thankful of the work that was done before I got there.
We never palled around with the Arvins:I guess by by the time we got there their reputation was really bad.
    WELCOME HOME

My Dad was in the Army & with Infantry in Pleiku from (I think) October '66-Oct '67. Anyone remember Ralph (Butch) Bessey? He told me a story about a monkey that was someone's pet at camp who used to get drunk & mean! He was from small town, Pennsylvania...a quiet man--still is, LOL. I am grateful he is still here with us! My hero!

What a screwed up story....could not have made anymore screw-ups if he tried. Think about surfing, and music is what I called focused.
