I wish apple would make an official recreation of the clamshell design. I would buy it so fast! I love how iconic the design is, but the old hardware just isn’t good nowadays.
This is such a great Idea, Billy really needs to get in touch with a programmer and an engineer to make the OG keyboard and trackpad usable... This is a pretty cool business

It seems to be good for a person like me to have that thick covered PC though I don't care about how cute and retro the pink and white case, which I've seen only in a particular, old movie, is. I tend to give my PC shocks and hits so my current thin PC, DELL, has broken immediately a few or several day after I started using for work at home. One of the former PCs of mine, Dynabook, didn't break or cause any malfunction even though I repeatedly hit the keyboard with my hands and almost throw and drop the PC.
I freaking love this! I want to take the M1 Mac mini and put it in the old iMac G4. The base of it would fit the pcb of the M1 mini plus a fan, only thing different is the IO, but it would look the same. The iMac G4 sleeper haha. You could go all out and put a M1 Max from the Studio but I don't know if it would fit.

So the reason that the Apple logo was upside down on the clamshell iBooks, is because when you use the carrying handle on it to take it around with you, it would be the correct orientation for passerbyers.
I always wanted one of these in high school, I didn’t get my first laptop until university though and I opted for a PowerBook G4 12”. I wanted the dark blue one.
