Hands down the best examples of tempo in any video I can find on youtube - so many other videos get it badly wrong, or explain it well but then the examples don't match the tempos. Thanks for getting it so right!
This was so incredibly helpful ja ja. Easily the best description I've ever herad to desribe tempo for classical stuff. I feel like I finally get it and (looks around sheepishly), I'm 40. Thanks again!
Jesus Bless you Mikayla..🤩 From India... Very informative I m satisfied... After spotting the Thumbnail of the video my Gut feeling says this is the video for which I m looking...
This is somewhat incorrect. 110-130 would be allegretto, not allegro (140-160). Presto literally means "forthwith" - fast but not so fast that we cant play crisp clean sixteenths. (170-180) Prestissimo means as fast as humanly possible. (200.)
You're totally right! These were just ballpark tempos to help my own students get an idea of the range and feel of these markings, but as you said, many musicians will interpret them differently.
Just by looking at the thumbnail I was able to do my home work
That's awesome! Glad it could help!
It was a music homework
Thank you for showing classic and modern songs in each tempo... much much easier to understand
Thanks for listening!

All Italian tempo markings are very ambiguous. If you check multiple sources 60 bpm can be described four ways.

Ótimo vídeo! Se tiver legenda, vai longe.
