In the manga is implied that Germany had a flashback of Chibitalia (from HRE's perspective) at the end of Buon San Valentino, but they didn't include that in the anime 😭😭😭

okay, so, there is a little problem here bc HRE was built of mini countries (I mean, Italy was under the control of Austrian Habsburgs during the Renaissance and Baroque, the scene with kissing Italy and HRE was probably in Baroque) and for example, Brandenburg had Prussia as a vassal and if an HRE was built of mini countries (for example Brandenburg) it means that Brandenburg was also simping to Italy? No, I believe Brandenburg would not simp to Italy XD Though I think it was mentioned in Hetalia that Prussia somewhat does? Anyway you see, yes, HRE was made up of a bunch of small kingdoms who were supposed to be more or less under the control of HRE emperor but all of those kingdoms had individual politics, monarchs of course and also wars therefore their relationships with others were different, surely. For example let's take the Soviet Union representation in Hetalia - we don't have a singular new personification, instead we have Russia and Baltics (and of course all the other countries that were a part of Soviet Union) with Russia in charge but the Baltics still have their own unique, identities and feelings. Also, when Veneziano is under Austria's rule his feelings for HRE do not change, his opinions and relations do not change to Austria's either. So in short: All personifications are unique and have their own identities that don't necessarily have to change under someone else's rule. Therefore most likely German kingdoms which were parts of HRE would not have the same feelings towards Veneziano as HRE. Perhaps some would but that probably wouldn't be caused by HRE himself and instead it would be caused by their own views and relations.
