Excellent work. Love the way you framed the door and window
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks for the video. I know nothing about welding at the moment and was wondering what type of electrode you were using? I also was wondering if you have any problems with condensation and the wooden frame of the window getting/staying wet? Thank you!
This is good. I am going to try it becaus its like $150 per hour in canada to cut it.
Were you looking at hiring a welding tuck/ rig to come work for you ?
1/8" Steel probably would have been more than adequate. 1/4' seems overkill.
If the person doing the work was a professional Welder, and prepared to deal with significant warping of the flat bar. Then sure. But that is not me.
Could you write why you welded these profiles on the ceiling? in the movie I didn't really understand ...
Anyway, it's a beautiful job ... Congratulations. :)
better support for storage/ heavy snow load, as well as support for other interior thing that are in an up coming video
I think he said it was for additional support on the roof in case he decided to put something up there
So what size metal did you use for the window
the frame was 1/4 inch x 4 mild steel flat bar
@@DonkeysBreath thanks it just looked like it was flush on the inside
