    It'd be really nice if we could find a retailer for these airguns that both ships to the US _and_ reliably has them in stock. These are amazing guns, but listing the price is pretty much worthless if you don't have it.

    I thought the Hortitzia was shorter, I know they make them in three different lengths, please tell me you’ll be carrying the short version of the Hortitzia, the one your showing looks like the longer more cumbersome models.

      The one in the video has a 550mm barrel, but we carry the 450mm for greater maneuverability.

      I understand that but, when these guns were first imported into the US the “ Hortitzia “ came in a 350mm configuration, could you please email Zbroia and imply about the shorter version. They have been offered in 3 different lengths from other vendors before, but I like you guys .

    This was a very well done review. I like how you discuss your concerns and it comes across as honest. Kudos for doing 10 shot groups during accuracy testing. It would have been nice to capture your best group on camera, but personally I don't find it particular interesting to watch the target. You get all the information from the final target. I do watch the shooter to get an idea of ergonomics as you go through the shot cycle. The camera angle could have been more back for a better view I think. I share you concern about the pressure gauge at the end of the barrel. Getting at the fill port looks fiddly. There is Foster connectors and everything else (well, and there is a Air Arms which is worse :-)). I love those simple magazines as well. The stock looks nice. They really should make the hammer spring adjustable without requiring any tools and without having to remove the stock. Cheek on metal on the Kozak is not comfortable especially in winter, and they need to supply a cover with the gun. Are you importing them? Zbrioa deserved better representation than the first retailer that brought them to the US. I picked up a Taipan Veteran recently, otherwise the Kozak FC would be on my short list. Looking at the product specification on your website, isn't .177 usually less air efficient than .22? How come it is different with Zbrioa? Does the 450mm and 550mm versions really produce the amount of energy? I.e. is the only benefit just higher shot count due to the larger cylinder or are there any other benefits (like noise, or accuracy)? You should get a recording of a shot outside with a pellet as the rifle sound louder than they probably are in any real-world usage. Is the a qualitative difference in the trigger on the Hortizia and Kozak? Extreme spread seems a little high and there appears to be a power curve. Does Huma make a regular for this gun, and can you replace it if you so desire?

    • @airgundepot
      @airgundepot  4 года назад +1

      Thanks for your feedback. Regarding your questions, no we aren't the distributor of them. 177 is less air efficient if you are trying to reach the same power level, but otherwise you usually get more shots in .177, if I am understanding your question correctly. No the power output between the two is different. We will change the specs from what we were first given. Some have said that the 550mm barrel is more accurate, but we haven't been able to confirm it. Theoretically, it should be a little quieter also. The trigger on both guns seem very similar to us, but we haven't tested a large sample of them. When these break in, they tend to have very consistent regulators and we don't know of any HUMA versions, but we haven't asked them either.

BUT if I would of know that you can't find parts for it unless you fly to Uk. watching this video you would think that Airgun Depot would carry it and have parts for it. I am looking for a air refill probe and some extra magazines. They don't even list it in There PCP rifles for sale, but watching this video you would think they would have them. Seems like the biggest issue/decision now days is if you like the design and country of origin with most guns. There are so many good airguns on the market and such a wide range of choices that choosing is highly personal. I've been testing a Kral Knight in .22 (but have the .177 and .25 kits as well) and there you have another semi-bull pup design with a huge shot count, power adjustability, adjustable trigger (which is good because out of the box it needs work), adjustable comb and despite rumors to the contrary it shoots at least as accurately as these rifles. But for a lower price point you can have 3 calibers instead of one. Does that make it a better gun; nope. So these appear to be really nice rifles but I don't see anything here that puts them above anything else in this price point. Still waiting for the rifle that is really going to put the industry on its head and I have a suspicion it will ultimately come out of China from the Snow Peak (Shaoxing) factory.

    • @ZbroiaUa
      @ZbroiaUa 4 года назад

      The quantity of shots depends on energy and reservoir capacity first of all. The other things affect this as well. The factory standards: if energy 44 J + reservoir 220 cc + cal.22 = quantity of shots near 55.

    • @worker2004
      @worker2004 4 года назад +1

      @@ZbroiaUa yeah i have the 44 joules with a 220 cc reservoir. I think 55 is not that much for a 220 cc 300 bar fill, but it is still fine. For the price that this gun costs it is really amazing and accuracy, which is most important, is perfect for me.

    I totally agree with Travis about checking your air quantity gauge. It is just not right to look down the muzzle to read the gauge. Bad design and may scare some folks seeing it done so. At some gun ranges,like most I know,if I was seen looking down the barrel,I would most likely be banned from that range. I love the Hatsan AT 44 and BT 65 series,but dislike the air gauge placement. Was it Curley of the Three Stooges that looked down the barrel to clear a squib? I think all pressure gauges should be in the stock. I understand that most air cylinders can be removed,but who wants to do that to safely check your remaining air. I am surprised it is not a liability issue. My answer to that safety issue is I use a small telescoping mirror stick. With the gun rested,I extend the mirror to the front of the gun to read the gauge. Also what could be used is a cell phone selfie stick if it has the reach to focus on the pressure gauge. Just my thoughts. Shoot Safe. Shoot Straight..
