So Gravity Training isn't being tracked properly at all for some reason. They're mostly being recorded under RH. If you click the top RH parse for some gates, you get GT parses instead.
So far, the site does not define specialization well if you look at the max damage logs Reflux Then you will see 3/5 is the Igniter It's the same with other classes
The ceiling data is flawed considering rng for accessories, enlightenment points, and engraving books. Support players also heavily skew what the ceiling can be too. Hard mode is filled with statics so it's not like we have consistent environmental factors across the data points.
You really should never use "max" for these sorts of comparisons as they are almost always extreme outliers often times performed while using a rather degenerate strategy that is not representative of typical raiding like setting up a custom made group for 1 player to parse with (perfect synergy and multiple supports for 100/100/100 uptime) also having that person hold damage vs shields when normally you'd be attacking to save CDs. While the site tries to filter weird it's not completely effective and there's a reason why the 75% mark is noted as "reasonable ceiling" and what you should use if you want something that is applicable to players. Although even using the reasonable ceiling it's still the best 25% of players... for most people... that's not you.
Then why would we use "median" or "mean" for classes that are overplayed like Igniter or Fullmoon when at least 50% of it's playerbase are dogs that lower the potential of the class and make it look normal on average ?
Also there are some very crazy omega whales for some classes (not all) for max I would filter out everyone 1700+ at this point, just no use in pulling up a parse of a 1725 with full 10s and triple bracelet damage line. way too distorting.
@@youcefkhaldi9827 Whilst the mean will be really distorted, the median would be a lot less affected by extremes at the lower and higher ends of dps. It should give a reasonable view of how the "middle" igniter players perform
Precisely. Max is horrible bc it's gona be max ilvl people, with max sups, sometimes even esther weapons, and insanely good acc and gems (your giga whales). Should be using Q3, or if they ever add, 90-95 percentile. That will remove the giga whale/high rng outliers, while still giving accurate enough info on dps balance That, or you can filter logs to only include
This doesn't tell the whole story (especially looking at the max sorting). I see SO many people playing a supposedly super-strong build like Full Moon who are doing MUCH less damage than I am doing on Reflux. And it's not that Reflux is secretly stronger. It's that burst builds are not for everyone. Some people just like more the sustained damage builds and perform better on them. It's not a coincidence that the same burst builds that have such a high ceiling have such a low floor as well. So, everyone, please be mindful when you choose your build. Don't just go for what works for the other players. See if it works for you. And if it doesn't, change it for something that does.
I still feel like we shouldn't be promoting this information. This is why most creators don't post info for FFXIV. The only reason we're able to utilize FFLOGS is because of Square Enix's stance of more or less "just don't be toxic". They take the data provided as a way to help with job balance, raid balance, and they know that most people use it for improvement. They ban people off of the use of it if they use it on their streams, and they ban you for using it to be mean/toxic with it, but they don't have a strong stance against it. SmileGate has a more of blanket "we don't want this at all" stance, so talking about it like this is just a bad idea. I don't know why you would want to make this content anyway. If you like the meter, you should know that we shouldn't talk about this, while also showing the websites so that people can be sent cease and desist directly for the creation of the website that utilize this data. You're being shortsighted with videos like these and you should really reconsider making stuff like this for THIS game. For other games it's not that bad, but Smilegate has banned people for JUST using the meter. They do not want this in their game at all at this current point in time. Please take this feedback to heart.
Thanks for the feedback. My stance is that the website itself is not against TOS so I’m gonna share it to people so they can use it as a resource. If SG or AGS don’t like it they can take down the website like SG did for the meter. I will never make a video about how to get or use meter but tools that are not against TOS I’m going to share and people have a choice if they want to use it or not. Gatekeeping information is no good for anyone especially when it can directly help you improve your gameplay. If you see yourself doing less damage than the average then you can start to try and figure out why and how to fix it.
promoting player driven data seems fine to me. SG never releases full class balance data, so players need to get it themselves if they want to hold SG accountable for their horrible balance patches.
@@MisoxShiru your video is doing bad to the game. the chart is completely flawed by gems lv, relic books, accessories, number of aegir pieces, ilvl, collectible points, even elixirs and obviously the performance of support and teammates. I've no evo in my roster but clearly showing them at the bottom means instant gatekeep for those who will look at this stupid website. its is very very bad. and im only taking one example. the method is very bad with a lot of flaws because there is no analysis, just gathering data without thinking. its really bad. kr does a lot better to analysis classes performances. the state of global will never change with this type of site. people will complain about balance patch because they won't understand shit. the fact that it was named "bible" means a lot about how people are taking this thing without any thinking.
SG dumb as always, nerfed Blue Gunlancer which is again basically at the bottom on boss (Aegir) which is more or less ideal for him, since GL can facetank most of the stuff and have very high uptime. If GL cannot be high on bosses like this, he will be horrible on any boss where he have to dodge due to some special meter bs or other mechanic. Transformation classes are still same trash, T4 changed literally nothing, what was OP before is OP now and what was weak before is still weak. Only thing which changed is that Surge is mediocre now, what a tragedy.
@@chriso6042 the main appeal to it is that you do not have to build 9 stacks, so you are almost guaranteed to always be able to use it, unlike now where it is hard to fit it in before duration runs out.
This video is useless because you didn't filter by level and you compare a 1710 igniter to a 1680 glavier, just as an example. Do the same video but now filter chars between 1680 and 1685, and you'll probably see a different story.
i abandoned windfury because dmg numbers are still a joke compared to almost all other dps classes i'm going to SE NE poor windfury lol🤣.🥲 ps.if you wanna play crit sync i recommend deadeye

the website is flawed as for reflux highest example, it is an igniter that is shown instead of a reflux
Can't really use this data since a large majority can't even use ark passive yet, so.. I would revisit this in like mid december
So far, the site does not define specialization well

Class balance doesn't seem as horrendous as korea thinks? Gonna be interesting to see how these numbers change with more data + reclears become faster

evo under true courage is crazy. i gotta try it out and see for myself
Me overperforming oven igniters with my 4 reflux at every opportunity and just laughing kek
Hope they continue to support the website. It is very doubtful for now. Need 10-20 times the sample to be barely working.

Master summoner is strong in this list cause they already have relic adrenaline in this logs
Night's edge crying in the corner until Z changes
Ya I'm waiting for that Z changes....it allows night's edge to exit ghast mode anytime instead of 9 stacks build up, right? that is huge...
@rammpage4468 it's very nice, but still need to wait for cooldowns to refresh, so it's not quite game changing
